BIRDLAND – Three key pro days were held that could affect who’s available to the Falcons when they pick with the 19th selection.

Who will select Florida quarterback Tim Tebow?

  • Buffalo in the first round, 9th overall
  • New England in the first round, 22nd overall
  • Washington in the second round, 37th overall
  • Cleveland in the second round, 38th overall

NFL scouts descended on Oklahoma and Texas to evaluate quarterback Sam Bradford, wide receiver Dez Bryant and quarterback Colt McCoy earlier this week.

Bradford showed off his accuracy and may have wrapped up the No. 1 pick in the draft. He had to convince teams that he was completely recovered from his AC joint shoulder surgery.

Representatives  from 21 teams were on hand for Bradford’s workout.

Punter Michael Koenen to host 7th Dream House Golf Classic

Falcons punter Michael Koenen is set to host the annual Dream House Golf Classic at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Hamilton Mill Golf Club in Dacula.

The tournament will feature several Falcons, local NFL Alumni and media personalities.

All event proceeds will benefit Georgia-based children’s charity The Dream House for Medically Fragile Children, Inc.

Sportscaster Fred Kalil of 11Alive will serve as emcee for the awards banquet and live action.

“As the Dream House golf tournament gets closer, I get more and more excited,” Koenen said. “With such a great event last year, this year’s is shaping up to be an even bigger and better event! Everyone has really bought into such a great cause with me.”

BIRDLAND — Hey y’all, let’s take a day off from all of the NFL draft talk.

We  have some really exciting cheerleader news.

The team is completely revamping its Cheerleader program for the 2010 season with a new look, new uniforms, new logo and overall new approach. Check out the video.

The new look consists of the Falcons searching for ladies who epitomize the “New South.” Young, glamorous, hip, attractive and intelligent.

The Cheerleaders are slated to get a bigger part of the game day experience with an increased presence in the stadium,
