BMLoco, are you in denial? Did you watch the first 8 weeks of the season, when we were fully healthy? We were clearly the best team in the NFL this past season. I know it must sting to see the Saints win SB XLIV, because it makes your sorry Pigeons look even worse. We’re still partying with the Lombardi down here. I saw it with my own eyes at the Saints Victory Parade rolling down Poydras St. Anyway, congrats on your back to back winning seasons, quite an accomplishment for you guys. Your jealousy is noted, Pigeon fan. WHO DAT!

AintsXLIV–The Aints won’t be one of the NFL’s favored teams in 2010,and will not be getting as much help from the zebras. They will have a tougher schedule, and hopefully they will have as many opponents coming off of Bye Weeks, as the Mighty Falcons did in 2009. AS for injuries, there is no way that the Aints had as many, as the Mighty Falcons did for the entire 2009 season. The 2010 Aints will be lucky to finish 2nd in the NFC East, and even make the playoffs as WCard. Your moronic chant will change to WHO DAT WAS??

NFC East? I thougt we were in the South, LOL, and btw, the Saints had 16 people on IR, the Falcons had 13, so don’t go there with injury arguement. We just won the Superbowl and you can’t deal with it. Have a great day!

D. Led, why would you “waste” a 1st rounder on a big ugly to sit the bench for a year or two. You can pick up a developmental center in the 3rd or 4th round. We need a starter with that 1st pick, and preferrably on defense.

It’s a two horse race for the NFC South crown next year. The canthers and succaneers will be vying for the doormat title. Till the dirty birds show the NFL something next year, they will still be a 9-7 team. The Saints are the odds on favorite to win the division out right, and probably the conference.

Cowboys, can’t argue there, but three were in the early 90’s and two I believe were in the 70’s, so were we talking about best teams in history? Or the best team in 2009? Diamond Dog, you are correct, maybe I shoud have used “Champions” and one word for the Falcons “Losers”. SeenThisB4, yesir

Someone needs to tell Saints fans that when you have been a perennial loser you can’t talk crap. You caught lightning in a bottle and won a ring. Congrats but shut the hell up! If you really knew football you would just enjoy the win and not talk crap. Teams that hide their defense deficiencies behind relying on turn overs don’t sustain success, FACT. Didn’t NO want to get rid of the Saints prior to Katrina? hmmmmmm

I think the saints were 8-8 in 2008, don’t see why that can’t happen again in 2010. The Mighty Falcons will, without a doubt, be on the top of the NFC SOUTH at the end of 2010, the saints might not even make 2nd place. The Mighty Falcons WILL DEFINITELY “show the saints something”, around here, we call it a good old-fashioned a$$kicking. It will be, “WHO DAT WAS???” for the saints.

Defence does not win championships, however, defense does win championships and they still need a pass rusher to help out plus another linebacker wouldn’t hurt.

I can’t wait, probably will be a night game, I’m sure we will have our hands full, and Mr Clean, I will continue talk all I want. I have been watching the Saints a long time, and have been waiting for this moment. And no, we (fans) did not want to get rid of the Saints, but our owner I’m sure was looking into it.

SaintsXLIV, your username speaks for itself. It says I love my Saints (now). Winners have won before so they act like winners. Losers that finally win act like horses asses because they don’t know any better. Growing up, if you got your butt handed to you over and over by a brother or friend. You don’t finally win and then brag. If you did, you’d get your butt kicked. Hopefully by your dad for being classless. Keep chirping, it says more about you than you know. The year I was fortunate enough to see the Falcons go the Super Bowl, I was humble and appreciative and I’m that way win or lose. I’m a Celtics fan with lots of Lakers friends and I never, even in the 80’s, bragged.

Mr Clean, I’ve been going to Saints games since ‘87, so I love my Saints ALWAYS, don’t get that twisted. I am new to this site, so I put XLIV on the name to remind all you Falcon fans. Fair points on the bragging, but my team has been the butt of many jokes over the years, so consider it unleashing anger. yep i trust smithy and td on rob, hope he works for us and i agree he is back home so hopefully desire for playing for dirty birds his home team will be motivation to bring us glory rather than just cash.. as for centre regards i think we should pair matty ice back up with his centre in boston college who is in the draft , good player we could develop and he already has good understanding with our qb very important, i think he maybe there in 3rd rea;;y a push to seem him fall to 4th, but i think we need and olb and with jerry and moore back perfect like draft picks for this year with experince of the playbook and training camp in them, i would draft wr,de,te and o l man with other picks. i still wouldnt mind us dipping into to fa to grab one more player to help or draft little

Fact is, on the Saints.
They are a team that scores 30+ PPG.
In the big picture, the Falcons need to find a way to (more or less) to equal that production.

DR23 is money, now all the falcons have to do is grab an OLB or DE and its all good. But I would love it if they took Taylor Mays!! That would lock up the secondary with B.Williams coming back!
