I didn't see this until now, but I agree with those who think the Falcons need to begin stretching the field with Roddy White—he's been working underneath way too much, and really needs to start extending the field vertically. He's only averaging 40 yards per game, and part of the reason is because of the shorter routes. Maybe this has something to do with a continued feeling that the Falcons need to protect Matt Ryan with the run. Whatever it is, I hope to see more creativity and explosiveness tomorrow.

Justice, who is your comment for? Get their head out of their “A–”, and save the player’s have feelings BS for something else. You don’t think the player’s have feelings, if they read some of the mess that their fans say, I believe it would hurt some, not all. I really need to stop reading this stuff, Brent told me to not respond to negativity, but it’s hard.

tightin up the run d ..blitz more off of free safety behind John Abraham…take more shots 3rd and long and 4th and 1. Its a game of field posession take chances…We owned the rushing title how many years in a row??? Play more man to man and make the reciever make the play…force them to go hard or go home play like that and we’ll win alot of games 4 sho….

Deborah – I am a *so-called* Falcon fan, and have been since I went to the first game they ever played, a 9-7 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. Can you say as much?

I have said here before that there isn’t anyone who plays with more heart than Brent Grimes, but heart doesn’t win games. Beating your opponent does. And to this point in time, neither Grimes nor Houston has done that.

*In my opinion* they need to be replaced as soon as possible so the team *I* have loved and bled with for 43 years can win.

Critisism is what makes people fix their mistakes. Without it players will never realize that what their doing is wrong and will continue making those same mistakes. Get your head outta your a** and be a real fan, criticize whats bad and praise whats good. Save your “players have feelings too” BS for something else.

Atlanta overall has played solid, but I think the biggest thing they need to resolve is Roddy White downfield. Think about it. If Gonzalez continues to be a threat with these medium passes and White busts out as a threat downfield, defenses will be forced to focus on mostly passing. This will give Turner the breathing room (and running room) to run with more confidence and speed with less defenders looking solely at him.
As for the defense, either Jamal Anderson steps up to first round status or he needs to go. Hes playing as though he hasn’t a care in the world. His job is in serious danger. As a matter of fact, the entire D line needs to step up, make more plays, and pressure the quarterback like they were doing VS Miami. Thats loosen some of the pressure on Atlantas mediocre (becuase of age) secondary.

The Falcons played awful Sunday, they were out-coached, no one rushed the Brady putting pressure on the QB, he was given all day to throw the ball and had time to chose and pick out his receivers, whatever happen to the Blitz? The Falcons was a flute last year, just lucky but now the luck has run out and Thomas Dim should get some Defensive players, what did he do with last year’s draft other than draft Jerry? PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE if you do nothing else PLEASE get rid of Jamal Anderson he’s a wasted draft choice plus a liability, and get rid of Brent Grimes and Chris Houston they are terrible!!!!! Please next year get some real coaches, over, over again we never get a good defensive coach who will blitz and rush the Quarterback. I like Mike Smith but VanGorder and Mularkey needs to relocate to some other team.
