[...] Five Atlanta Falcons made the Sporting News’ list of the 100 greatest players in the NFL Today, as selected by a panel of 106 Hall of famers, major award winners, executives, coaches and other football experts. (No, I wasn’t on the panel. Mere oversight I’m sure). [...]

This blog is dead. The material and subjects have been absolutely horrible. D3 in the birdcage who only does this as a hobby is killing this DOL dude. His blog is on fire and the guy writes very intertesting stuff as well. The AJC needs to make a change because DOL or whatever the hell his name, is the worst beat writer I have ever seen. Another Falcons season is upon us and I already know we're going to get terrible coverage here on the AJC. His training camp coverage of the team was by far the worst I have ever seen.

And even after being out for 2 full seasons, that panel which consisted of Hall of Famers, GMs, coaches and players - have Mike Vick listed as No. 88

game surely does recognize game.

Claude Humphrey's not in the Hall for the same reason that Jesse Tuggle and Tommy Nobis aren't- they played for bad Falcons teams. If they'd played for a glamour team like Dallas or a New York team, they'd have been lected a long time ago. I never have understood the logic of that. If you bury a jewel under a pile of manure, it's still a precious gem, right?
