WR HDouglas has been lost for the entire season. Where would we be now if management had taken the ill advised route concerning RWhite that's been suggested by some our more football illiterate fans? It seems like he made a brilliant decision in holding out when he did because he's certainly in the drivers seat now. Now, we have only 2 backups, Weems(1 receptions) & BFinneran(21 receptions) that were on the roster last yr. Without RWhite, we're hurting, especially on experience and proven talent, especially within our system.

This is a very good example of why fans that can't keep their emotional, personal and/or cultural issues out of the discussion should leave team operations and decisions to managment, or someone with a clue.

ANYONE THAT COMPARES RWHITE'S ACCOMPLISHMENTS OVER THE LAST 2YRS TO THOSE OF OTHER TOP WR's, ALONG WITH THE CIRCUMSTANCES HE'S FUNCTIONED UNDER, AS WELL AS THE RUN 1ST VS THE PASS 1ST SYSTEM HE PLAYS IN, AND CLAIM'S HE'S NOT ONE OF THE NFL'S TOP WR's, IS A FOOTBALL ILLITERATE THAT ALLOWS THEIR EMOTIONS AND PERSONAL ISSUES TO TAKE PRESIDENT OVER THEIR COMMON SENSE, ASSUMING THEY HAVE ANY COMMON SENSE TO BEGIN WITH.

Now we're seeing the importance of having accumulating of the depth in quality talent that's been assembled this season.

DITTO ....Ken Strickland-good post my man. I dont want to stir the pot but maybe his and Jenkins early drops were a result of the motion/projectory on the ball being thrown by a lefty QB.....

The last 2 years Roddy's drops have decreased and he has become a probowler.

Pay the man..... 2 mill is peanuts for a pro bowl reciever-especially when other guys with very similar numbers are in the 8-11 mill range.

D,

Read your work. You're not Skip Bayless, Stephen A. Smith, or Tony Kornheiser yet - and may you never be anything like those three clowns.

Heard you on ESPN. Did not like it. You sounded like a guy dealing smack on a street corner waiting for Omar to come by and steal his product or Marlo to drive up and cap his backside.

Drop the schtick and speak like a professional. That's how you get respect. If you want street cred, keep on yapping like you be yapping.

Roddy is without a top 10/top 5 receiver. He should be paid like one and I don't think anyone is questioning that. Unfortunately, timing is everything and like everyone $10mill per year is steep for a guy who finally showed his potential last year. Let's get Roddy in camp get him to a deal that puts him behind a Fitzgerald and secure that Ryan to White combo for years to come.
