Big Easy...think your saints will fair better? Maybe Reggie can finally live up to the hype. I seriously doubt it. Not hearing too much now about how the Texans screwed that draft up by not takin Bush. I've said from day one he wouldn't do crap in the NFL.

What happend to the time when you honored a signed contract, I hope that the Falcons stand strong and remind him of this and I hope that he is proud to be the first bad apple on this team. I hope that maybe, just maybe this might spark some of the team leaders to remind him of loyalty, the Falcons did not ask him to take a pay cut while he was learning and dropping passes. GO FALCONS!!!!!!!

Roddy White, Mike Turner and John Abraham and 2 of them are unhappy about their contracts. Take some of that guaranteed money from the playoff choke and everybody can get paid.

A Fitzgerald-sized investment in Roddy White takes away from investing in the OL and D - which is where the yearly contenders spend their money, once they have their franchise QB, which is exactly where the falcons are now. We need to let White hold out and stick to our price.

The rest of the team knows what it takes to win. This won't disrupt chemistry. Trust the new regime to know where to put their cash and be patient..........it will work.

The great Matty Ice doesn't need Roddy because he is the man. Lets see what you can do Matty Ice without your security blanket.

Remember in 2007 (before Matty Ice) Roddy had similar production, so it looks like Roddy covered up that weak armed over hyped choking qb.

If I'm TD, I'm thinking, "You know, Harry Douglas catches the ball pretty good. So does Michael Jenkins. Brian Finneran? He's old school, there's no quit in him. So, Roddy, just how badly do you think we need you? Please don't think badly enough that you're gonna hold out and I'm gonna rush and say 'I'm sorry.' Dude, I came from the Patriots organization. We're about 'team.' Oh, you're holding out? Tsk tsk, dude."

I hope Roddy doesn't poop in his mess kit.

Hey GT GRAD, I agree about the cornerback position being one of concern. However, if you remember Grimes did hold down the position for the first 6 games last year with a little help over the top. I'm hoping that C.Jackson may step up or that C. Owens comes on later in the year. I do think that with the additional pressure I'm sure we're going to put on the passer we can form a decent player at that position. That's my hopes anyway. I think the coaching staff will spend plenty of time addressing that situation and that makes me sleep better.

As for Roddy White, I'm disappointed he has chosen to not show up for the beginning of camp. I understand the business side of it but also, as mentioned in previous post, the team stuck with him with his drops and even as lately as the drop against Ariz. in the playoffs that could have easily been a touchdown and game changing play. I just hope his hold out doesn't make those drops come more often.
