I love Fleaflickers! Except when we are playing the Cardinals in the playoffs and Larry Fitzgrald is the one with the ball. We got totally burned on that one.

WR said, "Now here is where football knowledge comes into play, 90% of the game is mental and 10% is physical". Yeah, that's why there are so many 150 lb. genius' in the NFL! lol

WR- Yeah, keep Jenkins at SE. No argument on that one. At 6'4 with 4.4 speed, I'm hoping he turns into our version of Alvin Harper with the Cowboys. Douglass was drafted to play the slot anyways although that could change. I think he's best there regardless.

That Dude, I will take some of the greatest show on turf any day. The Falcons have the components for it, and I will say once again and I noticed some of the analyze are seeing what I see, watch out for Harry Douglas. Some people will disagree with me but I would prefer for Jenkins to start at SE so that the Falcons can keep Douglas in the slot, can you imagine going three wide with Jenkins,Douglas, and White as your wide receivers, Gonzo at TE and Turner in the back field, or going two back "dirty bird formation" with Norwood and Turner in the back field, Gonzo at TE and Douglas, White, and Ryan at wide receiver, were talking flea flickers, reverses, double reverses, draws, and even some option.

Talk about slow motion.

We're mired in the dead period. Things should pick up after the 15th. Want to see how the rookies are doing at the symposium. Coach Smitty is out fishing with Coach Paul Johnson. Thomas D is hiking around the world some where. Nick Polk is relaxing some where with salary cap numbers racing through his head.

Just not much to offer right now. Working on a new blog though. It will be titled "The Offseason Blues." I've got them. Most of you all have them. What are we doing to past the down football time. I'll share some of my things.

ATLIEN: Thanks for dropping by. We have the best bloggers and informed fans here.

UNCA' BOB: Lions didn't get damaged goods. Grady never works out in the offseason. That's against the rules when you're over 340.

WHERESMYFALCONS, TIMETOEARNTHAT PAYCHECK and STATESBURR: Relax. See above.

WR- You're right. Good teams will stick to their game plan for the most part in the first half. In the second half, without the lead, the clock can become your second opponent. The x-factor is always human emotion. OC's tend to hit the panic button. Sticking to the run they may do, but then how much clock does that leave them and if we start grinding it out then thats even more clock that is used. We can still score by pounding it and eating up the clock as well. OC's know this so it is my guess that they will throw more often. Maybe not at first, but if we get a 21 point lead and after that can still match them point for point then they will all but abandon the run. I'm not saying at all that we shouldn't consider our D in this equation. Definitely we should, but at what cost if any? I want to see some of the same offense last year with a mxture of the old Rams offense. The power running game was what Martz lacked or just didn't want. I think we have both so maybe we can do a little of what you suggest and a little of what I suggest. It's going to be a really good offense. I think we can both agree on that.

Unca'Bob, you know its all love, just imagine, we're actually having a debate on the usage or utilization of a potent Falcons attack, when is the last time you could worry or argue on something like that. Personally it doesn't matter if I'm right or wrong, I'm just looking forward to the season and crossing my fingers, toes, legs, arms, eyes, and whatever else I can find in hopes that some weird crazy ghost of Falcons past failures doesn't show its ugly face again.

What would football be without some monday morning quarterbacking, well in this case some, wednesday afternoon quarterbacking.
