
Andrea Sneiderman was arrested on murder charges Thursday in Putnam County.
DeKalb County District Attorney Robert James has scheduled a 1 p.m. press conference to discuss the arrest of Andrea Sneiderman in the death of her husband, Rusty Sneiderman.
1:05 p.m. — Press conference begins, DA begins reading counts of indictment.
1:08 p.m. — The case will not be tried in the media, says James, adding he will not answer questions pertaining to evidence.
1:10 p.m. — Arrest the result of several months of work, says James.
1:11 p.m. — “Confident in the case” and evidence, says James. Going to use the “same formula that worked last time,” referencing the Hemy Neuman conviction.
1:12 p.m. — Grand jury took about an hour to return a “true bill” Thursday morning, says James.
1:13 p.m. — Sneiderman arrested on “no bond” arrest warrant, but a defense request for bond could be granted.
1:14 p.m. — Children not present during arrest, says James.
1:15 p.m. – Arraignment not scheduled but probably “next month.” No timetable for trial to begin.
1:16 p.m. – James ends press conference without taking additional questions from the media.
