Never heard of Jack Reacher until the movie was being advertised. Just checked it out on wiki and looks like a good read.
I can see where Reacher fans think Cruise is miscast in the role. A Tom Selleck type might be more appropriate.

in the books Reacher is a VERY physical guy, very large, very aggressive, verystrong. He would use Cruise as a toothpick.

I don’t read most of his stuff VJ really.
But there sure was a response from our revered blog-meister to some of his comments he’s evidently made in the past about work. I used to work a steady 100+ hours a week in a hamburger stand during summer break from college when I was in my early 20’s. It’s tough over a couple summers. I can’t imagine that type of grind for the number of years DAVE’s put in. Pretty wearing I imagine.

Can either Mejia or Freeman play 3B? We could have them both in the lineup on some days if they could. Fredi has a great arm and probably could play over there because nothing gets by him. We have some good options internally with Francisco, Gattis and Mejia. This lineup will score runs and our pitching should keep us in almost every game. Would’t be surprised to see us win 94 again or even a couple more than that.
