I’ve been watching The Wire over the past month or two, just started the fifth season. Tough call between that and Breaking Bad as my favorite drama series.
Our best shot at a Impact LF is Josh Willingham in my opinion. Seems like the perfect fit. Twins are not gonna compete for a while. Braves have the money to take on his salary. Twins are basically rebuilding. Here’s the kicker, they already traded 2 starting Outfielders. Also many teams are not gonna offer alot for a 34 year old slugger who has benefited from the DH the past 2 seasons. So they feel he’s more valuable to them instead of freeing up 14 million and adding a youngin or two.
Please no more on Justin Upton coming to Atlanta. We just don’t match up very well and the Braves will be disinclined to overpay. I like Scotch. Scotch, scotch, scotch.
You are so wise. Like a miniature Buddha, covered in hair. Give up on Willingham, too. There will be no impact LF, until the Braves evaluate what they have in ST. No reason to overpay. You guys are nervous nellies.

Where are they turning in guns? I thought that NY paper that listed all the pistol owners and did the demographics, did a disservice to folks like myself that DON’T have a cache of weapons, but don’t want the criminal element knowing that………
Stupidest thing a person could do would be to identify themselves as a gun free zone and make it public. Don’t ya think?
(even though I am a right wing extremist, I still think we have WAY too many automatic weapons and high volume clips)
I miss that lady who was Bill Clinton’s surgeon general (can’t remember her name, but I can still see her in her “uniform”). We need safer guns and safer bullets.
Yeah, last year was way hard, it was miserable, but while this year was still hard, I just keep remembering the good times, which helps me big time. I was able to talk with family and friends during this year’s Christmas, so it also helped to keeping my head up.

Just another opinion and rating on the shows mentioned above.
#1 Deadwood – Getting a little old but was my favorite of all the Pay Channels series with several characters that could carry the show.
#2 The Killing – No real heroes in this show as all the characters flaws were open books. Very real life situations and a real who done it plot.
#3 The Wire – a show that will grow on you week after week until you will not dare miss the next episode
#4 Rescue Me – Least favorite of all the shows with the repetitive theme of alcoholism and infidelity by Dennis Leary.

They do it here every so often, usually around the holidays (or after something tragic happens)

Yeah, last year was way hard, it was miserable, but while this year was still hard, I just keep remembering the good times, which helps me big time. I was able to talk with family and friends during this year’s Christmas, so it also helped to keeping my head up.
And glad you had a blast with your family

Joycelyn Elders! That’s the lady.
She said, “I love Eric Clapner, he is one of my favorite musicians!”
She was fired WAY too early. Just think of the gaffe’s we could have experienced.

Justin Upton back in play for possible trade, but #dbacks owner may need convincing to deal him.
I can’t even imagine how JU must be feeling right now…
