Well, I’ll root for the NINER’S —– this week.
But I know Russell Wilson. He played here at Collegiate H.S. Quite an athlete although I really didn’t think he’d be this good this fast.
SEATTLE’s gonna’ be a tough out. One game ahead of the ‘SKINS in the WC. I want to see a SEAHAWKS loss.

Wren isn’t trading what it will take to get Justin Upton. He is too stingy with his beloved and “untouchable” prospects like Teheran. Every time I read something on thks kid for at least a year now has been decent to just bad. His value now that Wren has held on so long to him has really shrunk I’m sure of it.

Wren ain’t gettin’ sh**. He’ll wait around until mid or late spring training and maybe add another one of his platoon type or an aging vet on his last leg.

I might have missed this earlier… but ESPN’s David Schoenfield (ya… I know) ranks the Braves 5th best team right now. Not sure I would rank the Braves that high right now, but it does underscore the point that the team is not THAT bad.

Wren’s best offer for Justin Upton would likely be beat by another team. I think I would be satisfied if we knew for sure that he made some offers.
I’d probably offer Teheran, Graham, Ahmed, and Lipka. I see other prospect rich teams beating that easily. Sucks cause boy I think he’d put us well over the top and make us favorites for the division.

The Mariners acquired Kendrys Morales earlier this week, who gives the team a logjam at first base and DH along with Jesus Montero, John Jaso, Justin Smoak, and Ibanez.

Hopefully Gattis can be the Uggla we thought we were getting 2 years ago from the Marlins. I expect he will open the season in AAA to learn to play LF, but will be up with the Braves by June 1. Francisco will probably see a lot of playing time in the first month of the season, expecially with McCann out and the need for more power in the order. If he shows he is a MLB 3rd baseman with 25-30 HR potential and Gattis is ready for prime time, where does that leave Uggla?

Isn’t Gattis only able to hit righties? 1000 OPS vs righties and 500 OPS vs lefties. Seems like the perfect platoon guy.
