My Niners D came to play tonight!
Another turnonver created by the 49ers D. Dang.
December 16th, 20129:14 pm
Not sure any kick in this weather could be deemed “easy” but it’s one he should have made
This sight is so slow…. Kicking me off with stupid errors…. DOB whip some butt in the IT department.
December 16th, 20129:15 pm
Even though the Cowboys won the Super Bowl in late January of 1996….it was the 1995 season that they won the Super Bowl in.
December 16th, 20129:19 pm
Your boys gotta stop leaving so many men on base. It’s gonna come back to haunt you.
I hope not. D has been outstanding
December 16th, 20129:21 pm
I hope the whole game won’t be like this with regards to all the turnovers.
As I expected
December 16th, 20129:22 pm
A cold, wet football.
December 16th, 20129:25 pm
You know who gets overlooked to often… Jenna Elfman.
December 16th, 20129:28 pm
“When was the Falcons last one?”
As a Giants fan, don’t really care. I DO know that the G-men have won more Super Bowls (2) than the Cowboys have won playoff games (1) since that last Dallas SB win.
And I do believe that the Falcons have at least played in a SB more recently than the Cowboys, as well, so you may want to come in here and brag about something that’s relevant, not ancient history.
December 16th, 20129:34 pm
And what did the Fraud Falcons do in their only Super Bowl appearance?
At least Eugene Robinson did get a prostitute experience to show for his trip to New Orleans. Deep down, he knew the Falcons were going to lose!
December 16th, 20129:35 pm
Walker TD!!!! 49ers extend the lead
December 16th, 20129:37 pm
Why? Just. Why?
Was watching a program about pro athletes finances after they retire. Greg Norman, the pro golfer, paid his ex wife $105 M in a divorce settlement. Michael Jordan $150 M. Tiger Woods $100 M.
Evander Holyfield has 11 children with 9 mother. Jason Caffey 10 children with 8 women.
Travis Henry, a former NFL player has nine children with 9 different women and child support payments of $17,000 a month.
Things aren’t to bad at home after all.
December 16th, 20129:48 pm
I was very pleased by the excellent performance by my 2nd favorite team today…
December 16th, 20129:53 pm
but not by your 1st
December 16th, 201210:03 pm
Falcons RapidReports @CBSFalcons
Via ESPN Stats and info, the #Giants’ 34-0 loss to Atlanta was the worst shutout loss by a defending SB Champion in NFL history.
December 16th, 201210:06 pm
TOBF: @ 5:11 pm “sunday mornings… ain’t nothing to do! Just get to be miserable, for a loooong time since I’m up early.”
You might try going to church to get some inner peace over your Bourjos obsession…just a suggestion, I’m not preaching to you.
December 16th, 201210:08 pm
Very good half-ending drive so far by the 49ers. Ending the half with the ball, and will be starting the half with it too.
December 16th, 201210:15 pm
49ers looking very strong. Not often, even for a half, that someone manhandles New England in Foxboro
church on Saturday…
December 16th, 201210:20 pm
Niners D looking like their usual outstanding selves. Need to keep the pressure up in 2nd half
I actually will be surprised if the Braves make a meaningful trade for LF prior to the season. DOB – what do you think odds are?
The Angels are looking for. More impact than their young pitcher Richards. Braves would offer them someone on that level. Just don’t see a reasonable scenario out there for a trade
December 16th, 201210:21 pm
Niners D looking as good as always. Need to keep pressure on in 2nd half
December 16th, 201210:22 pm
Sorry- didn’t mean to post that twice. Slow blog…
December 16th, 201210:28 pm
Sorry- didn’t mean to post that twice. Slow blog… — cabravesfan
Yeah, right! We believe you.
December 16th, 201210:30 pm
Can’t help it. My Niners looking good. Makes me happy
Reading the Twitter exchanges and someone asks how we know Maddux was clean, failed as many drug tests as Clemens, etc
Wonder if that person actually watched Maddux pitch. Body by Maddux not exactly poster child for PEDs. A non-power pitcher wo relied on location and movement.
PEDs have cast a shadow on everyone in the last 20+ years. If I could rank people that I least thought used PEDs, Maddux would be up there.
December 16th, 201210:37 pm
cab, was that a planned play?
after that fumble and TD run… it’s the 49ers night.
December 16th, 201210:43 pm
That looked like a football play to me… not a personal foul… Karma… now an INT.
And an immediate TD. 49ers are puttin’ in on the Pats.
December 16th, 201210:44 pm
Defending champs lose 34 – 0, and the Patriots getting their butts kicked in Foxboro.
Ya just never know
December 16th, 201210:46 pm
I’m utterly speechless
December 16th, 201210:47 pm
I guess you don’t have to worry too much about all those men you left on base during the earlier innings.
December 16th, 201210:52 pm
The Pats will score some still… with the lead the 49ers have now, they’re just going to make sure the Pats don’t strike fast.
Not relaxing yet. Lot of time left
December 16th, 201210:56 pm
Oh, I didn’t say not to worry at ALL… just that you don’t have to worry too much.
The game is still on my TV… and I’m still watching.
49ers offense needs to avoid 3-&-outs to keep Brady off the field still. Lots of time.
December 16th, 201210:59 pm
Angel manon @Angelmanon1
@ajcbraves Juan Francisco hit his 9 homer in 32 games in the winter league!
December 16th, 201211:03 pm
Kris Medlen @KrisMedlen54
I might make a movie… A real movie… That way one person can say its “the movie of the year” and get street cred… Is that how it works?
Pats will make this closer than it is.
Bank on it.
December 16th, 201211:19 pm
SOUTH OF THE BORDER
Leadf-off CF JOSE CONSTANZA [.326 BA] 4-4, 2 R, 1 RBI , 1 SAC, 1 SB .
Georgie must have enjoyed his ten days out of the starting line-up.
3B JUAN FRANCISCO [.304 BA] 1-4, 1 R, 1 HR , 1 RBI , 1 SO.
Ho hum. Another bomb, another SO.
LHSP YOHAN FLANDE [2.61 ERA] 4.1 IP, 7 H, 2 R/ER, 1 BB, 3 SO.
Decent outing, especially so as he only surrendered two while giving up seven hits and a walk, Great crowd control.
Lead-off CF FELIX PIE [.252 BA] 2-4, 1 R, 1 RBI .
Lead-off 2B RUBEN GOTAY [.244 BA] 3-4, 1 R, 1 RBI , 1 SO.
PH/DH CHRIS GARCIA [.189 BA] 1-2, 1 SO.
No games scheduled.
December 16th, 201211:24 pm
Great to see my REDSKINS take over 1st in the NFC East.
They are going to have a tussle with the IGGLES next week. Tough out in PHILLY.
Game is to close. Not the defense’s fault. Back to back short drives by the 49ers offense.
December 16th, 201211:25 pm
I notice you have, Felix Pie, in with your Winter League stats. Doesn’t he play with the Pirates or someone else, now?
December 16th, 201211:37 pm
It’s OK, now, if you want to worry a bunch
December 16th, 201211:39 pm
looks like Pie signed as a minor league free agent last month by pirates
Now that’s the Patriots I expected to see show up tonight against the 69ers!
69ers blowing a 28 point lead. If they lose this game….it can ruin a season. Remember, they have to go to Seattle next Monday night.
No worries… full worry mode now that it’s tied.
December 16th, 201211:40 pm
I think I need to take Nala for a very long walk in the rain and (relative) cold…
wow smh what a comeback
December 16th, 201211:41 pm
Brady teaching Kaepermuck a lesson tonight!
December 16th, 201211:42 pm
Why would ever go there? That’s just so unnecessary.
December 16th, 201211:43 pm
Quick strike back… up a TD.
Well…. that didn’t take the Niners very long to score!
December 16th, 201211:44 pm
IDIOT LENTZ RETURNS…
December 16th, 201211:45 pm
Kaep iseems I fazed by the pats
December 16th, 201211:47 pm
cab, are you trying to type with your mouth full?
December 16th, 201211:52 pm
Tom – her fingers not working as she watches…
can you guyz get any more boring???
December 16th, 201211:54 pm
Dentz is typing in his bra and panties, nolie. Does that excite you?
December 16th, 201211:56 pm
it excites the mental health counselor in me a bit perhaps, but truthfully he is kinduva run of the mill nutso
December 16th, 201211:57 pm
I could get a lot more boring – ask my students…
December 16th, 201211:59 pm
The game’s almost over, buddy. Of course, then most everyone will go to bed.
Wild game. Field goal pretty much ends it…
December 17th, 201212:01 am
Long past my bed time already.
next week won’t be this much fun I bet… Seahawks….
I always picture as bursting into song when the subject matter starts to drag a bit VJ.
I coulda added all night, I coulda added all night
and then subtracted too….
December 17th, 201212:02 am
I think if someone would have said the game score would be 41-31… I think most woulda thought it was the Patriots that eclipsed 40.
December 17th, 201212:03 am
nolie – sometimes I do (sort of)…
December 17th, 201212:04 am
I have vowed to stay awake to watch the finale of Homeland after the game ends so I will not need to fear spoilers…
December 17th, 201212:06 am
Since the D-Backs GM couldn’t pry SIMMONS from us, I see he signed JOSH WILSON to a minor league deal.
December 17th, 201212:07 am
And BUDDY CARLYSLE has become a BLUE JAY.
December 17th, 201212:08 am
So… coming down to an onside kick?
December 17th, 201212:09 am
Just curious – where are you these days? The last I remember, you were in Cleveland.
December 17th, 201212:10 am
Game. Set. Match.
Oh… and GO NINERS!!!!
It didn’t hop… Niners get a good win. Play the Seahawks next week on Nat’l TV lol.
December 17th, 201212:11 am
Congrats, cabravesfan. You can breathe, now.
Great win by my Niners
Yup, PITTSBURGH it is.
Cleveland… for now. I’m in the middle of discussing a promotion and move with Rockwell right now. We’ll see how that plays out. I’ll catch ya later, loooong past my bed time.
December 17th, 201212:13 am
Have a good ‘nite, Heath.
December 17th, 201212:16 am
Yeah, I thought I remembered reading that Gwinnett lost 2 of their 3 outfielders during the off season.
I was a little surprised that the Braves didn’t keep, at least, one of them – considering their situation.
December 17th, 201212:17 am
Niners clinch play-off berth. Most important item on checklist done
December 17th, 201212:19 am
Hello everyone! Congratulations to the Niner Fans…….I was reading some sites, and found out that Trumbo will not be traded, but Bourjos, could, and Braves still could be up to some thing in that.
December 17th, 201212:21 am
Angels still want a starter, so I would stay tuned….
December 17th, 201212:22 am
Tell Frank to trade for Bourjos…
Falcons just need 1 more win to clinch the top seed… make the road to the SB come through ATL. Just need to survive the Suh monster.
December 17th, 201212:24 am
It was on h MSN Sports site, but nothing, as of Sunday, so Some thing could be interesting this week.
December 17th, 201212:25 am
The las t report came out late Saturday….
December 17th, 201212:26 am
If the Niners can roll into Foxboro and beat the Pats, they can beat anyone, anywhere
December 17th, 201212:27 am
The “Mochimochi Land Photo Contest” has closed their polls.
Now we have to wait, nervously, for the results.
December 17th, 201212:29 am
Once you beat my, Packers, in Lambeau, I was already convinced that you could beat anyone, anywhere, 13 games ago.
December 17th, 201212:33 am
They’ve beaten the Packers at Lambeau, the Saints in New Orleans, and now the Pats in Foxboro. Three of the hardest places in the NFL to win, regardless of record. I firmly believe they can win anywhere.
December 17th, 201212:35 am
So do I… I wasn’t kidding.
We talk baseball, other sports, music, movies, BBQ and whatever (except politics or religion)
