Apparently HWSNBN has been calling me names on Facebook- since he does not have access to my page (since I blocked him) and there are no pictures of me on it anyways (my profile pic is of a fox) I have no idea where he is getting the idea that I am fat or ugly or anything else
Hugo Z Hackenbush
December 12th, 20129:31 pm
Yes, but he’s doing a straight blues. Might as well have George Thorogood…
random triple post haha
I love me some Eric Clapton.
December 12th, 20129:33 pm
Well, as of now, She Who Shall Not Be Named has never been arrested, let alone many (many, many) times…that makes me sad (is that wrong?)…
EC is nailin’ it. Rhythm section is killin’ it!
December 12th, 20129:34 pm
Clapton vs Thoroughgood? Please tell me that you are kidding
A cop shot a rabid fox in my front yard once. Quite a story, eh?
December 12th, 20129:36 pm
Nah, not really cabravesfan. She just likes attention, not enough, though, to break the law getting it…yet!
Besides, I don’t know if they have a jail cell big enough for her butt.
you are not implying I am a rabid fox, are you?
December 12th, 20129:37 pm
Nolie, when doing a straight blues, one is pretty much like the other…a couple of white guys trying to sound like old black men.
She has always liked attention. WHY ARE WE TALKING ABOUT HER SHE’S GROSS!!!
December 12th, 20129:38 pm
You do foam at the mouth from time to time…
he now has sent me a personel message on fb, and called out Trey… lol this guy is endless, must suck when we all go to work and are not here commenting, he must go crazy, probably has to go for shrink sessions during the day to get some kind of interaction.
December 12th, 20129:40 pm
Hugo, that’s blasphemy.
December 12th, 20129:41 pm
Only after her Niners lose, Hugo.
December 12th, 20129:43 pm
If that’s so Tom, I don’t want to see her after the Patriots game!
sorry Hugo, just can not agree with that and blues is the music I live most for
December 12th, 20129:44 pm
Ok, I’ll give you that And yeah, when the Niners lose, I tend to get a little…ranty
December 12th, 20129:46 pm
THERE IS NO GUARANTEE THE NINERS WILL NOT BEAT THE PATS! THEIR DEFENSE IS THE BEST IN THE LEAGUE AND WILL PRESSURE BRADY ALL DAY! (end of conversation on the topic unless you really want me to get all capsy and ranty and screamy- and its nearly dinner so I won’t )
December 12th, 20129:47 pm
May be a generational thing Nolie. I find people like Clapton most interesting when they reimagine the blues(Crossroads) or reinvent it (Layla). If I want to hear Bessie Smith, I’ll listen to Bessie Smith.
December 12th, 20129:48 pm
December 12th, 20129:49 pm
Brava, that d-bag finally posted a comment to me on there!
I am not whiny! Foamy, maybe…VJ often laughs at me during 49er games (when he is home…)
December 12th, 20129:50 pm
We really don’t need any closeups of Mick, please.
December 12th, 20129:53 pm
What did he say, Trey?
December 12th, 20129:54 pm
cab, I responded to him personally via facebook e-mail. I love his libel.
December 12th, 20129:56 pm
You are opening a can that will be hard to contain, but if you want the fight, you’ll have it
December 12th, 201210:01 pm
Oh, I did open it. I’m having fun now.
December 12th, 201210:03 pm
Wow! What a freaking psycho. He really needs to get some help.
December 12th, 201210:04 pm
the guy is never ending, im sure he’ll continue to talk crap to me as well. pretty pathetic he is gonna start talking about my girlfriend and her 3 year old son… saying things like inbred and retarded and so on…
I hafta agree with Dentz using gmail. That’s the best one, IMO.
December 12th, 201210:05 pm
Some help? A lotta help. One flew over the cuckoo’s Nest help. The thing that set me off is that he made fun of VAB’s girlfriend’s kid. He shouldn’t have been included in Dentz’ psychotic rage.
December 12th, 201210:07 pm
all you folks are doing is making sure that he will continue the same actions all the time
You are opening a can that will be hard to contain, but if you want the fight, you’ll have it — cabravesfan
The “Blog Call” of the year!
December 12th, 201210:08 pm
Just ignore him
December 12th, 201210:13 pm
Gattis is back in Venezuela, after being excused to go home for a little over a week. Took some swings before tonight’s game, is supposed to play tomorrow.
It’s ABOUT time they had someone else to look at besides old men on this concert!
December 12th, 201210:14 pm
Figured you’d be at MSG. (j/k)
“As soon as I thought I was out, they pulled me back in”
December 12th, 201210:15 pm
no you pulled yourself back in
December 12th, 201210:17 pm
nolie, it’s a quote.
December 12th, 201210:18 pm
Braves make a trade yet??
I should have said “Just”
December 12th, 201210:19 pm
yes I know it is Trey
December 12th, 201210:22 pm
Just as disturbing are the few that egged him on and threw in a couple of LOL’s.
nolie, it’s a quote.
The quotation marks made it a dead giveaway, Trey.
I’m watching too much stuff…I’m half-expecting Honey Boo Boo to start singing with The Who…
December 12th, 201210:27 pm
Fire nolie while you’re at it!
Tom, some folks miss the quotation marks.
December 12th, 201210:29 pm
We’re close to catching up on the concert (since I got home an hour after it started) – but I need to head back out again soon (which I almost forgot – glad cab remembered)…
December 12th, 201210:31 pm
Speaking of music, I watched Michael Jackson performing Billy Jean when he first did the moonwalk. Say what you want, but that guy was a great entertainer. Nothing else like him. I really think he got screwed over a lot in his life and eventually had him mentally unstable. Shame.
No, CTB. Wren is watching the concert. Maybe after it’s over.
December 12th, 201210:33 pm
Hurry back, VJ, we’ll wait. But if you’re not back for the finale at midnight, I’m watching without you. Should be something very special.
December 12th, 201210:36 pm
darren rovell @darrenrovell
Tim Tebow and Jeremy Lin ranked 4th & 8th on Facebook’s list of the most mentioned public figures in 2013
Paul Lentz was 43,567,234th…
December 12th, 201210:37 pm
I believe Roger Daltrey uses the same hair stylist as Don Sutton.
December 12th, 201210:39 pm
Nala take a quick leak, VJ?
December 12th, 201210:43 pm
Good stuff, very emotional… well done
December 12th, 201210:44 pm
Nala will be waiting until midnight (your time)…
Am I the only one not banned?
December 12th, 201210:46 pm
Nala will be the judge of that, my friend.
December 12th, 201210:47 pm
nobody left to deep negotiate for. contemplating Russian Roulette with two bullets instead of one since Choo was lost….
Gonna go get my Glock for myself too…
As for those BABIP numbers, if that’s the range he’s been in lately, that’s pretty good…. saying that he’ll be around .325 or so isn’t too out of the ordinary. Though, based on his LD%, it seems that he should be around .315 or so… Currently, he’s at .358 against RHP (which includes any PH appearances), so there should be some regression there… I’ll look to see what some other lefties platooners do, but of the top of my head, I believe that Seth Smith (who hits righties well) has a babip of about .300
December 12th, 201210:50 pm
I bet Townshend’s labrum looks like shredded cheese after all these ears of windmilling it.
December 12th, 201210:51 pm
But I must say, old man, you really are starting to make me wonder… maybe just maybe a platoon wouldn’t be so bad.
I just wish that Juan would play LF, but alas, that won’t happen.
December 12th, 201210:53 pm
All I can think of when I see him do that is Terry Harper… he dislocated his shoulder waving a runner home.
Townshend must stretch that baby out a bit before he goes on stage.
December 12th, 201210:55 pm
The Who sound better than I expected. Daltry lost the higher octave about 2 decades ago, but still does a pretty good job with it. I loved that band back in the day.
December 12th, 201210:57 pm
Nala is very good- she would rather die than go in the house. She will let me know if she needs to go out before VJ gets home. Currently she is snoring on the bed…I’m not worried
December 12th, 201210:58 pm
Wasn’t it, The Who, that used to smash their equipment up at the end of their concerts, many a Moon ago?
December 12th, 201211:00 pm
Nala is very good- she would rather die than go in the house — cabravesfan
That’s the only thing I don’t like about Karen. She won’t do it outside.
December 12th, 201211:02 pm
Pete Townshend and The Who rocked it. Wow.
SOUTH OF THE BORDER
DOMINICAN-VENEZUELAN ALL-STAR break over today. Games in DOMINICAN Republic resume tomorrow.
1B RUBEN GOTAY [.169 BA] 0-5, 1 BB, 1 E [1, fielding].
DH CHRIS GARCIA [.188 BA] 0-3, 2 SO.
LHRP LUIS AVILAN [1.80 ERA] 0.2 IP, 0 H, 1 R/ER, 2 BB, 0 SO.
1B ERNESTO MEJIA [.313 BA] 2-4, 1 R, 1 2B , 1 SO.
Roger & Pete were pretty awesome. So were the rest of the band.
December 12th, 201211:04 pm
and Juan having a .327 babip next season is lower than his career .348 (which is, of course, heavily skewed by his RHP domination)
Who knows, maybe he’s a guy who can post BABIPs over .340 against RHP, but based on his other stats (LD%, FB%, etc.) he should be closer to .310 total (about .325 against RHP). He’s got 25 points to lose
I agree… best so far

December 12th, 201211:08 pm
Yeah, TOM O’ – Took in a number of SNARKY PUPPYS cuts. Reminded me of a latter-day ‘CRUSADERS’ sound. Some of their mid-70’s stuff. Enjoyed the new twist they put on the backbeat.
December 12th, 201211:09 pm
Where you been keeping yourself man. Good to see you back and chiming in. What’s your take on LF?
December 12th, 201211:11 pm
Well, given how cold it is in New York right now, can you blame her? Maybe you should consider indoor plumbing… it is 2012 after all
December 12th, 201211:12 pm
I’ve seen your past posts, richbrave. Even checked out the “Crusaders” on YouTube. Nice sound, had never heard of them.
After you talked about, “Snarky Puppy”, today… Rick C made a post about them – saying how good they were. But you had left.
December 12th, 201211:15 pm
I was hoping for ALEX GORDON. But alas, it was not to be. WILLINGHAM or MORSE from the NATS was my fall-back option. I guess there’s still a possibility though it doesn’t look good what with the brass visiting down south to put eyeballs on the prospects and talk to the local management about their ability to fill the platoon out in LF and for the bench.
I think FRANCISCO’s doing all he can to earn a job at 3B, as is GATTIS and CUNNINGHAM in the OF.
ERNESTO MEJIA’s on the 40-man. I can’t believe he hasn’t been traded with the REV for a LF’er at this point.
December 12th, 201211:18 pm
Where you been keeping yourself man. Good to see you back and chiming in. What’s your take on LF? — richbrave
Thanks, man. I was on Twitter during the baseball season. Had a problem reading through all the bad, here, to get to the good, after the collapse.
LF? Who knows… maybe Francisco has FINALLY decided to work at his craft. He seems to be doing it, lately. He’s still pretty young, so – you never know. Maybe, we’ll end up with Marteeeen back in left.
Wren, at least, has to consider that before he trades away any prospects, you know?
Well I must offer up my apologies to Rick C.
Sorry to have missed you sir.
December 12th, 201211:21 pm
And I must offer up a heartfelt condolance to the family of DAVE BRUBECK whose ‘TIME OUT’ introduced me to jazz my freshman year in college. The other grabber for me was AHMAD JAMAL’s ‘At the PERSHING.”
Even a platoon of Johnson/Prado, in LF, Francisco/Prado, on 3RD, wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world.
December 12th, 201211:24 pm
close to the worst thing though….
December 12th, 201211:26 pm
Didn’t expect to hear from you, nolie, while hip-hop was on. I know how much you love that.
Missing TOM O’ makes me all a-twitter. Heh! Unfortunately, I don’t….twitter that is. But I have to admit, I cut back a bit myself during the season with all the hair-brained back-biting mierda going on here.
December 12th, 201211:27 pm
worst thing we could do if we want Prado to stay, imo… he wouldn’t and shouldn’t stay where he’ll be used as a yo-yo
December 12th, 201211:28 pm
Tom doesn’t twitter anymore either
Seriously, I’m not talking about the fat, lazy dude Francisco was… I’m talking about the new Francisco I hope he continues to be.
If that’s the case, then you can throw all those old stats out the window. IF!!!
December 12th, 201211:29 pm
so did I miss all the good music? just finished my work and I see Kanye is up, and wearing a friggin skirt…
December 12th, 201211:30 pm
being fat is not what caused all the Ks and the terrible OBP, plenty of fat players get on base. we’ll see
Hip Hop is cool, I love Bugs Bunny……
Tom doesn’t twitter anymore either
Sorry, LAdy. Not on the off-season. I get too busy and that tech-stuff gets too time-consuming if you let it.
Well, hey there, Tom! Haven’t seen you in a while. How are things?
December 12th, 201211:31 pm
I don’t think Marteen is nearly as bothered by moving around as some bloggers are. If he likes it in Atlanta and they make him a good offer, I suspect he will take it. He’s not the type that would make an issue about position. He is a gamer that just wants to play and be the best contributer to the team that he can be. That is what is most important to him and why he is such a valuable teammate.
December 12th, 201211:32 pm
You mean BIFF, and two-time loser SCHAFER stir your soul? That dynamic duo makes my backbone shiver. Ugh!
Hey, BIFF if you’re reading this, show me a .385 OBP down south and all is forgiven.
worst thing we could do if we want Prado to stay, imo… he wouldn’t and shouldn’t stay where he’ll be used as a yo-yo — TOBF
You mean limit him to only TWO positions?!?
We talk baseball, other sports, music, movies, BBQ and whatever (except politics or religion)
