DOB… What is a realistic expectation for filling the last major hole in the lineup?
In my opinion, it is not very realisitic to thing the braves will get Hamilton or Upton. I see
the braves getting someone like Delmon Young.
bbblauser; DANG! wouldn’t that be somethin’ huh? Man, if you’re right, I’d freak’n flip out, If Liberty Media would sell, that would be freak’n awesome! Prayers answered man, I’d love it, I think everyone else would too, If Arthur were to buy, he’d put DOB on staff & pay him triple ain’t that right Dave?
bbblauser; Be somethin’ if Liberty Media told Frank, go ahead we raised payroll $120 million(wish’n) or let Frank use for another stud or two. Frank wouldn’t know what to do w/ that xtra salary breathing room.
That’ll be cool also, just as long there freed up from Liberty media, & if Ted’s still got deep funds. He’s up there in years, but mabey could keep ‘em in the family.
If the Braves want J. Upton try and get Dodgers (Dee Gordon) or Indians (Cabreara) involved. They both are on the trading block. This way they could keep Simmons.
Bill M.; I’ve heard it mentioned about the indians(cabrera), if they could swing it, go for it. I’m feelin’ the vibes right now, franks up to somethin’, right at this very momment as we speak. Ya’ll hear it too?
What happened to all of the talk last season of Joe Terdoslavich in left field? He did well in the Futures Game. I agree that Frank Wren has something brewing. I would be surprised to see the Braves land Justin Upton. I hope they’re smarter than dealing a franchise player in Andrelton Simmons and two top tier pitching prospects. Ryan Raburn on the bench would be nice.
Man, they all talk’n it up over on the other blog “Bossman junior, El oso Blanco & other matters”, They gett’n some pretty good diggs there, But on ichiro, as old as he is, is always reliable, always clutch, he could fit. We’ll see. Been nice dialogue-ing w/ ya’ll Genuine Bravo fans. It’s been a blast! Let me know what happens, I hate to run, but i’ll be talkin w/ ya’ll. bbblauser, it’s been a pleasure sir, & Angel Eyes, pleasures mine. Ya’ll have a good one! Go Bravos!
REMEMBER how GREAT Hanson and JJ were before their first INURIES. They were considered to be the future of the Braves – the core of a great Pitching Staff for years to come. And this is just the tip of the iceberg – there have been many, other injuries to great Pitchers in recent years – our best young pitcher last season.
WONDER what the Braves past records would be like if GLAVINE, MADDUX, and SMOLTZ had been injured early in their careers when LEO was the Pitching Coach????
