Take a look at the vote put up on this site. It is 66% for and 33% not.
That split is probably based on the race card he is speaking up. Too bad that the split is always down those lines. I hope that Swisher or Victorina will sign so that he will have one in the outfield. I really thought sports was the one place this mess was not important. I guess the reality is that he will be happy when the sports are taken by Dominican, Mexicans, Puerto Ricans, venezuelens, and really squeeze the white american’s out. When the mets had an all Dominican team except Wright and Wagner it was a mess. Omya Minar screwed the pooch loading them up. The Marlins tried the same. What will happen when we go to the games and no one can give an English interview. It’s always been that way of rather seeing all other nationalities except the American Black man have a seat at the table even if they replace with people born outside of American. Nothing gets me more than to end a perfect game and the person being interviewed is barely understandable. Javier Lopez and Martin Prado learned the language because this is where they work to earn a living, What would they say about Uggla, McCann and Freman. Now they are minorities on the teams. Is it a fright that the Atlanta Braves “out of Georgia” could be made up of all these races and nationalities with few whites on the team.

What a day it will be A day where all players All nationatalitis take the field in Turner Field.

Then will it truly be a game of diversity.

My son, asked me many ears ago why are all the pitcher’s white and others play in the field. I told him that these guys came up playing their specialties and it meant nothing. He made a look at me that I still don’t understand.

Taking a look at the votes casta on this site it is 66% for Upton and 33% against. This same split is probably the race card. It would be nice if now he can get Swisher and Victorina to man the field.
It would bee too much if the two black men had that seat at the table. Otherwise it would be th
Dominicans, Mexicans, Puerto ricans or Venezuelens. So one day there will be even less whites in the game. Whe Omar Minaya tried that in New York and only had Wright and Wagner it was a mess. They even wore LosMets on uniform in an American ball park. Let’s see what will happen with McCann, Freeman and Uggla. The Marlins tried that and they are almost out of business. As far and Hank Aaron goes he should be allowed to express whatever he wants from his position.
But, Terence Moore should not be given the time of day much less any consideration credit on what is changing in Braves Country. Given the Manager is Mexican and tips his cap in defeat is not good. When they bring in for interviews and we can barelly understand it shoud be happy for you just so you can keep the African American’s out. Javier Lopez and Martin Prado learned how to speak the Language because this is where they work. Many years ago my son asked me why are all the pitchers white and everyone else is in the field? I told him that these guy grew up playing their positions and they are trained. He gave me the strangest look and said it looks like they all work for him. So, let’s keep on looking at the make up of the team and it will change turst me it will change.

California has the distinct honor of being one of those weird conservative states with large pockets of liberal voters- San Francisco & Los Angeles (the 2 largest cities in the state) in particular- which skew the voting to the blue side (not complaining or making any political statement- just the way it is) and Silicon Valley, which is a very interesting mix of old corporate money and the newly rich techies. Was probably the Northridge quake- that was the last high one that we’ve had (which is really not a good thing…)

Interested Bystander sounds like our old buddy Dentz. — kenhotlanta

I thought of him as more of a, drunk Dentz, which isn’t beyond the realm of imagination. I believe he’s been on here, all day.

Bobby H:

Yes……unfortunately. But in 15 more years, I’ll be safely tucked away on the ground floor of the Richmond Catholic cemetary’s mausoleum with an expansive river-front view and a southerly exposure, drying slowly. I won’t mind.

It must be nice to have your future so perfectly planned (just kidding).

You’re in your late 60’s, I believe you have said, right? So, when you’re 84/85, I’m gonna remind you how full of crap you were, today! (I hope) ;)

I’ll let ya’ remind provided my mind and health don’t deteriorate any further than they have to this point. Otherwise, I’ll be off to visit the HEMLOCK SOCIETY soon rather than later.

No, guys I am on her after 10:00 and Race Card and Old Man were going on about BJ, Jason, Hank and Terence Moore. They were using the race card determing the MLB business. I responded to them with a simple observation. How can two BJ & Jason upset the race card when most of the major league is build from many nationalities. Sorry if my response was brash.

I hear you, richbrave. But they have a very promising drug that may really halt or cure, Alzheimer’s.

Unfortunately, it still needs about 4 more years of testing. So, hang in there.
