I have always liked Shane. He is the kinda hard-nosed player who is easy to hate when on another team but you quickly appreciate when you play with him, I wouldn’t offer a long contract though because he has been so intense a performer that he might be a bit old for his age. Perhaps two years with a team option

Already has. One game at QB his eighth grade season. Illegal horse-collar tackle ripped the right patella tendon off the tibia and broke the bone in seven places. Cost him his quickness at SS, his natural position.

DH. That’s about it. SO…..a lot, the only weakness in his offense I can see. What i love is how he hits when the chips are down. The guy is an RBI machine. Average or slightly better fielder.

Well, Bobby H, when you see those slanted letters usually at the top, that is when somebody is confused about an issue.
Then you see the standard type which is the writer (me for instance) is responding to what is confusing the first poster. You would not believe the injured players some of our GM’s would make if we didn”t catch em.
Plus they wanted Medlen to be the Opening Day Ace and pitch 40 games and 250 innings. Only problem was he pitched 3 innings the year before and wasn’t quite ready.

Hello everyone! I just read a source that Phillies could sign a CF, and the 3 came to Hamilton, Bourn, or Pagan. Yes, Phillies talked to B.J. Upton, but Braves did more. They showed B.J. Upton to the club House, and he talked to Wren, Fredi, and Bobby was there telling his stories. Only time can tell on this one. We will see.

I like the Stone Crabs better than the Lobster Rich. One of my neighbors came in with 400 plus pounds of Lobster but it pissed me off because the Chinese are coming in and buying @ wholesale and shipping them out of America. It can only mean prices will be going up for seafood with more competition.

considering his hitting and the Fact that Freeman has first blocked you gotta wonder why they did not play him some in LF in AAA. I can only guess that they think he just can’t play it.
Other than his stats, i really know little about him. He might fit in a multi-trade, at his age and still in the minors I doubt any other team would be interested in him alone

This is the only site I ever get on that will mysteriously shut down my internet. Only from my phone though. I’d say this has been happening within the last year or so. Has to be so much of the advertising the site has running that my phone can’t handle it or something. Very annoying.
