I was watching an episode of Hawaii Five-0 from last season and Shane Victorino was listed as a cast member which reminded me that I would be alright with him on a two year contract

Oh, don;t worry about that. 90% of the bloggers don’t know a thing about real baseball. They’ve never played real baseball and they’re playing that pretend kind where injuries are called bo bos and mommy will come home from work and fix it.
I have always liked Shane. Perhaps two years with a team option
I hope he stays away from football – we don’t want to see him get injured……”
Already has. One game at QB his eighth grade season. Illegal horse-collar tackle ripped the right patella tendon off the tibia and broke the bone in seven places. Cost him his quickness at SS, his natural position.

DH. That’s about it. SO…..a lot, the only weakness in his offense I can see. What i love is how he hits when the chips are down. The guy is an RBI machine. Average or slightly better fielder.
With those kind of numbers that he puts up, I could stand a lot of K’ing. Too bad he can’t play anywhere else. I guess he’ll be good in a trade to an American League team, though.
Well, Bobby H, when you see those slanted letters usually at the top, that is when somebody is confused about an issue.
Then you see the standard type which is the writer (me for instance) is responding to what is confusing the first poster. You would not believe the injured players some of our GM’s would make if we didn”t catch em.
Plus they wanted Medlen to be the Opening Day Ace and pitch 40 games and 250 innings. Only problem was he pitched 3 innings the year before and wasn’t quite ready.
Never played QB in youth league. That game in two and one-half quarters, he passed for over 100 yards with two TD passes, and ran one in when he was injured on the goal-line.

Hello everyone! I just read a source that Phillies could sign a CF, and the 3 came to Hamilton, Bourn, or Pagan. Yes, Phillies talked to B.J. Upton, but Braves did more. They showed B.J. Incredibly complete article on Meyers:
http://www.hardballtimes.com/main/article/making-the-comparison-wil-myers1/
Writer projects him to be one of the following types:
Vladimir Guerrero
Jermaine Dye
Moises Alou
Tim Salmon
Dwight Evans
Dave Winfield
Mike Cameron
B.J. Upton
Rob Deer
Pat Burrell
Out of these, he says Alou, Dye, and Burrell are the closest comps.

This is the only site I ever get on that will mysteriously shut down my internet. Only from my phone though. I’d say this has been happening within the last year or so. Has to be so much of the advertising the site has running that my phone can’t handle it or something. Very annoying.
