CONSTANZA, if giving a chance will be a solid CF, Batting champion in minors also career .310 batting AVG.

SIMMONS, would be a perfect 2 hitter behind Constanza.

PRADO, the Braves best hitter a perfect 3 hitter.

HAMILITON, is the biggest ? some time players need a change of scenery in order for there life to change, Braves could give this guy some special counseling that could be a well worth risk.

Hamiliton is a beast and is only 31years old.

4 years 70mill is a good offer that could bring him here.

You know I’m pretty reality has sunk in with many Braves fans over the years after Ted sold the team to the devil. We don’t persue high end players anymore…we can barely re-sign our homegrown talent that develop into stars. We have to trade more to put a roster together, thus losing potential big time players down the road because of the refusal to spend on free agents. Yet, the front office views everything as fine.

I hope that the loss of their 1 remaining superstar and the sebsequent debacle that’s coming (from attendance and from an already streaky, mediocre offense) will finally strike reality into the Braves brass. You need to spend to win! That doesn’t mean go Yankee crazy.

But it does mean, keep the guys you develop. And sign the best possible players for your most desperate positions. Let’s face it….we have no future leadoff hitter in the minors, no future centerfielder, no speed. So Bourn is worth whatever they pay them. How many failed attempts have their been to get a good CF, a good leadoff hitter. Now you have both and the only thing standing in your way is a warped view of pride or principle values, or whatever. That ridiculousness is what’s going to cost the Braves Bourn, not money. Bourn is an “A” players. Pagan, Willingham are “B” players at best.

Wren 1 playoff appearance in 5 seasons. 0 playoff series wins. Folks say that he’s done a good job with given payroll. I scoff. $155M total wasted btw Drunk Lowe, KK, Uggla, and Nate McOut. He’s tied his own hands with high risk, expensive, poor decisions. $10M alone this past season wasted on Drunk Lowe.

This is a man that cannot operate a given middle market budget properly, does not value OBP enough, and benefited tremendously from years of great work and drafting by John Schuerholz.

Atlanta fans that support Wren and his work are delusional. We need new ownership who will spend more and hold management accountable. I’d pay Andrew Friedman 1.5x’s what he’s making now to come here.

Lastly, it’s really sad that our wonderful atlanta sports writers refuse to question management the way that sports writers in other large cities question management. I love our writers, but the these folks, including the media, become a part of the problem. A majority of bloggers drink the kool-aid because they don’t read the necessary critical analysis in the papers or hear it on the air

Nat’s won’t win the World Series for several decades. They cursed themselves on the last day of the regular season. It was the first time ever that Teddy won the “president’s race.” The fact that he won in over 500 races and this will be just like the curse of the babe or the curse of the goat. 20 years from now when the Nat’s are still trying to win their first world sereis, this will go down as the curse of teddy

Talk about one helluva evening… My wallet fell out of my coat pocket when I got into my truck that was parked on side of the road. Didn’t realize I didn’t have my wallet until maybe 5 min after driving away. Knew for a fact that I put it in my pocket before I walked out the house. Came back and no wallet. Within 10 minutes someone already picked it up.

Called my bank to cancel my cards, and now no Drivers license, no Twic badge to get on base to go to work…. My whole weekend is shot.
