Oh, shove it, child. Sounds like Honey Boo Boo’s got more intelligence than you. I know I’m not a failure, I have a great job, great life. I can say more than don’t be a fan, boy, but I’m not going to risk getting banned. Someone get that boy his pacifier, before he breaks something. We’re all pissed, but many of us know they CAN come back from this.
It was crucial that we get at least one of those guys in. And we don’t. Go figure. That right there is pretty standard of any Braves team over the past twenty years. Blargh . . .
It’s been fun guys…we’ll do it again next year. At least I don’t have to look at HomoSolo’s vomit for a few months. Nephew, I will not miss you either.
Two in scoring position…HOF Chipper, whose error led to two / three runs…spits it out on the first pitch….Another memory bank moment, for Chipper’s last at bat. One hell of a way to end your career. You had your shot…you couldn’t do anything with it. Sad.
Thanks Hoss. Way to swing at the first pitch and ruin a rally just like your error ruined this game. I bet this is the way you wanted to go out huh Hoss? Atta boy.
When we really need Chipper to do something he comes up short. He’s supposed to be the veteran providing leadership in these situations, but instead his shakiness has got the whole team playing nervous baseball.
Chipper is a notorious playoff choker. NOTORIOUS. Jeez, he has a chance to redeem himself for letting the Cards get the upper hand and he GROUNDS OUT meekly on the first pitch NO LESS. GO HOME U SUCK and Have sucked 4 YEARS in post season play
Other than Ross, the whole team sh!t themselves today. Even Medlen wasn’t as “on”. Any other start this year, he finds a way to get out of that inning without 3 runs scoring. It was a horrible 2 strike pitch to Holliday on the HR making it 4-2. So don’t cry for medlen. He failed as well, but only because of the high standards he set for himself.
Oh well.
But Ross was the only one who realized how big the game was….. and actually stepped up.
Chipper could have atoned for the error right there. Not the best way to go out. I love watching him play but I won’t ever forget his performance tonight.
This is simply a team that has NO winning aura. Yes, they won 90something games, however, it had that ‘walk on a very thin line’ feel to it all year long. A bit like when they made it a couple years ago with Glaus and co. They always choke in the big games…
Chipper swing at first pitch in the 7th with runners on 2nd and 3rd is perfect illustration.
Almost another huge error!
Really, I don’t mind seeing the Cards win this game straight up, I just HATE seeing the braves give it to them with horrible plays.
My son definitely is not growing up a Braves fan. I would rather him grow up a Brewers fan and have no hope versus being let down year after year. Good thing he is to young to witness this crap.
We all talked about how we would win but deep down we knew we would lose. Nothing clutch from this team in 20 years. To be honest, we are lucky as hell to have the one title that we do. Was born here 42 years ago and the Falcons, Braves and Hawks continue to screw me over and will continue to do so. Curious to see how the Falcons will break my heart this year. These are my teams and this is my life.
Worst part is how the Braves have been an epic fail in big games at home.
Turner Field is ZERO advantage for a team that relies on home run “hitters” like Caveman Uggla. He is brutal despite the Sabergeeks seeing some sort of upside.
This loss is on Chipper and Gonzalez.
Chipper for costing us 3 runs and failing to get key hit and Gonzalez for opting to bunt with Simmons and using Durbins.
Pahtetic man. Many of you have more common sense then the moves Gonzalez made
agree with other posters, I can handle the braves losing, but the fact they have given them the game on a silver plate through terrible defense is so frustrating. even then uggla tried to throw it away
