Shockjock! Ol’Kincaide loves to make less than popular statements, so we are talking about him instead of the play on the field. Bet 680 and Kincaide love that a Hall of Famer did listen to them.

From what I’m gathering here from the comments, 680 The Fan made the criticisms of the Braves’ Tuesday night celebration? You’re kidding me! They’re one of the flagship stations in the Braves Radio Network!! This is why I wish WSB Radio still carried Braves’ games! And to think I had started listening to 680 during my evening drive-time commutes. That MIGHT just begin changing now.

Chipper’s right! CELEBRATE!!! It was a hard-earned achievement. And they achieved their first goal to get a playoff spot. Now they’re trying to see if they can change the outcome of the NL East division final standings or not. The naysayers always have to complain about something. DON’T listen to them!

Have fun in the playoffs, Bravos. And……GO, BRAVES!!!!!

Loved watching them celebrate their victory, it was like washing off the catastrophe of last year and celebrating rejuvination this season brought. Now hopefully our boys Dan and Brian can shake off their regular season struggles and amp up for the post-season.

Kris is pitching against this one game play-off, then we’ll be ready to take on the Nats! We’re surging, they’re slumping (some)….let’s do this!

I was there Tuesday and I didn’t want to leave. I wanted to party too. We get so few times in life where we take time to celebrate. Criticising the celebration for making the playoffs is ridiculous. They are a great team, they’ve dealt with adversity all year and they are going to the playoffs. There is no luck involved here. It doesn’t mean they aren’t trying to win the division or anything larger. They are just taking time to recognise achievements accomplished, they washed off last year in an ocean of champagne.

Now go win the Division, the League and the Series!

Always has been and always will be…at least as it relates to his opinion of all Atlanta sports teams. Unfortunately, our society listens to his crap (me included) thereby requiring 680 to keep him on the air for ratings. Kincaid, ever wonder why so many of Atlanta’s sports-talk radio personalities are from the north? I’ll bet you think it’s because you’re better talkers than we southerners are.

Well keep talking, big-mouth. You may be better at talking about sports, but southerners are better at playing them.

The SEC absolutely RULES college football.

Ever notice how many professional baseball players came from the south?

On the Braves alone, Heyward, McCann and Ross are from Georgia, Chipper and Pastornicky are from Florida, Hudson and Kimbrell are from Alabama, Sheets is from Louisiana, Bourn is from Texas, Maholm is from Mississippi, Uggla and Venters are from Kentucky, and Minor and Gearrin are from Tennessee.

None of the Braves except Varvaro (NJ) are from the northeast. None are from Pennsylvania.

None of the Phillies are from the northeast, either, except Kratz (PA).

Southerners play ball. Northeasterners talk about it. No questions asked.

Great job managing, Fredi. Let ‘er rip in the post-season. I expect this will be the first of many post-season appearances for teams you manage. This year you managed the pitching superbly, allowed Heyward to rebound and Freeman to grow, made Chipper your partner in the clubhouse, managed the shortstop situation deftly, got some good miles out of Sheets, brought Medlen along nicely, kept the pressure off of Uggla (HE OWES YOU ONE!) and weathered McCann’s slide. I just do not understand the troll mentality present here today.

Is it really unforgiveable that the Braves’ celebrated.reaching the playoffs? I trust that all you people critical of the celebration are the very best at what you do. I am not talking near the top. I am talking No. 1. If you are not considered the best at what you do, stop this hypocrisy.
