I could do without seeing Jose Constanza bad leadoff for the Braves tonight.

Late to the party, but MARTEEEN!!!!! I happen to have on my Prado t-shirt right now, too.
September 26th, 20127:26 pm
Good start (except for my streaming video)…
Thanks for the explanation P-Town Brave ©.
Part of me would rather see them just rest up and roll the dice against Saint Louis, but no one wants it to come down to just one game.
September 26th, 20127:28 pm
I wonder if Francisco will be on the playoff roster?
He seems to be the forgotten man since Overbay was signed.
I don’t think he has had a plate appearance in a week and He has been struggling at the plate with the lack of consistent ABs.
Gonzales seems to prefer Overbay and Hinske as LH pinch hitters and Chipper will not sit out a playoff game.
I don’t see a roster spot for Juan.

Congratulations Braves! Thanks DOB and Carrol for all the great work you guys do for us Braves fans. I wasn’t the biggest Fredi fan but I do have to give the man credit for a vastly improved managerial job compared to 2011. Now on to bigger and better things. How about this? Start Minor in the wildcard game thus having a fresh Medlen and Hudson to open the division series. Talk about momentum. Risky sure. Kind of like Lee splitting his army at Chancellorsville but if it works…Like the late great Jerry Garcia once sang, “Since it cost alot to win and even more to lose’ This is gonna be fun. Keep on rolling! Go Braves!

Here’s something interesting I found in the postseason schedule footer….
*** TBS will air three of the four Division Series games on Sunday, October 7th and up to three games on Wednesday, October 10th. MLB Network will air one Division Series game on both of those dates. TBS will air 18 of the 20 Division Series games.
Does the above mean for those of us who do not have MLB network we may not be able to see some BRAVES games if they get that far?
September 26th, 20127:51 pm
George, that would kind of a lousy deal, huh.
September 26th, 20127:54 pm
Ha ha, Chipper calling out Buck and Kincaid…morons!!
September 26th, 20127:55 pm
September 26th, 2012
Yup I wonder how MLB desides what game will be on thier network.
September 26th, 20127:57 pm
Now that’s funny, HOF Chipper Jones calling Buck and Kincaid morons. Classic. They will never live that down.
coastalbrave, go to braves.com/parking
September 26th, 20127:58 pm
8 or 9 comments in 30 minutes during a game
September 26th, 20127:59 pm
Actually, coastalbrave, that might not be the way to go….
I just checked the Braves’ website. Every…single…advance…parking ticket for every single lot is SOLD OUT!!!
Could prove troublesome for us getting there since Marta is no where within our route to Turner Field. Nice.
Slow isn’t it Bat
September 26th, 20128:01 pm
Sure beats last September. At least the Braves exorcised those Ghosts. Boston is still choking.
September 26th, 20128:03 pm
Malholm doesn’t look sharp at all despite not allowing a run.
Lee just missed it.
Doubt the one run will hold up for long
Hello all, Phil said he saw ace on the bradley blog so for those who are obsessed with him go pay him a visit. George is here and so am I. Tom was a vet who left because he was upset. I hope I have answered all the alter ego questions.
VJ and Cab are not the same person either.
September 26th, 20128:05 pm
We must admit that the blog has slowed since the banning of some and the leaving by others.
September 26th, 20128:06 pm
Sure is, George.
That’s good enough for me, Lane.
September 26th, 2012
I hope BAS did email DOB and ask him what names I have posted under.
Very Belated… Teeeen!!!!
Phils aren’t helping our division hopes, I see…
FIRE FREDI GONZALEZ

September 26th, 20128:08 pm
Don’t get picked off at 1st Jose… or lean back to first and then steal and get thrown out at 2nd
Now to the serious business. Let’s go into the post season on a roll. We all saw what a hot can do last year.
September 26th, 20128:09 pm
Wonder how nolie is doing?
Constanza just won a woman in Marietta 2700 in marathon gas cards with that stolen base
September 26th, 20128:11 pm
I don’t always agree with everything Nolie says but I do hope he is well soon and will be back. He is missed.
Marteeeeen and Georgie!!!!
Jose Jose-Jose Jose-Jose!
September 26th, 20128:12 pm
Atta boy, Marteen.
September 26th, 20128:13 pm
Atta boy, Jason
Come on, Chipper
Howard and Ruiz had a chance to bring the Phillies closer but they failed.
Been wondering where you have been Brava
Bay Area Steve
September 26th, 20128:15 pm
George, I wouldn’t bother ‘OB with such nonsense. And, I’m sorry if I’m wrong.
TOBF, thanks for the link, and the paste.
Need this 3rd run here just a flyball by Uggla.
Ha, the Marlins just showed Chipper calling those cats on the radio morons.
September 26th, 20128:16 pm
Got to be embarrassed Dan
September 26th, 20128:19 pm
Like I said…..probably a tad embarrassing Dan.
WHAT A PATHETIC AT BAT. CAN’T EVEN MAKE CONTACT?
SHORTEN THE SWING ATLEAST
NO NEED TO HIT A GRANDSLAM
UGGLA WILL BE THE REASON WE LOSE IN THE PLAYOFFS.
Alright Heap, how about DOING something for a change!
September 26th, 20128:20 pm
Come on, Heap, how about a little two outs magic
Was Chipper talking about the bald New York stooges?
“Got to be embarrassed Dan”
Not what I had in mind Heap. Not at all.
September 26th, 20128:21 pm
McCann watches two fastballs and then swings at a slider in the dirt. The Braves could have used another run in that situation.
two big Ks for JJ
September 26th, 20128:22 pm
Hope Heap isn’t on the post season roster but, you know he will be.
September 26th, 20128:24 pm
Mac’s 1000th ML game. That’s alotta squattin’.
New day…same struggles
Bald new York stooges?
Is that Buck and Kincaid?
Well, that sukked.
Outta here to watch game. Have a good one. Nite all.
September 26th, 20128:26 pm
have a good one george
September 26th, 20128:27 pm
Let’s hope that McCann and Uggla get hot heading into post season.
September 26th, 20128:29 pm
Phils just scored their 2nd run. 5-2 bot 4th.
I know it’s bonus time but Uggla and McCann need to get on board! Get it going while the iron is hot. In the playoffs I would not Bat them back to back. McCann needs to get fitness training at season’s end. He is too good to be looking so bad!
September 26th, 20128:31 pm
Quickest automatic outs I have ever seen
September 26th, 20128:34 pm
Mac is a physical wreck…..yet some here persist in overt denial of his largesse while others have grudgingly acknowledged its time to drop a few.
September 26th, 20128:36 pm
In the wake of all the celebrating last night….most would assume that remaining home and such would produce some elevated moods among the roster……all this and, there is but one characteristic they can’t seem to shake…..bases loaded, one out…..and, as fast as you can say kudos; inning over and still one measly run. And, above all…..this ain’t no playoff team we’re playing.
September 26th, 20128:37 pm
While others continue to be obsessed with something of which they know nothing about. Nobody has ever denied that Mac is not a small man, but that by no means equals overweight.
Hard to figure out why McFann avoids this place…
September 26th, 20128:38 pm
Lol at Cab…..
It is what it is…..
September 26th, 20128:39 pm
But I am not about to get into yet another pointless discussion about it so that’s all I will say
September 26th, 20128:40 pm
Not sure why you find that funny, but whatever.
September 26th, 20128:42 pm
Cab and VJ wage endless war on the mere mention of Mac’s bulging waistline….
‘Teen likes dirt! ha ha
September 26th, 20128:43 pm
It’s funny because you deny the obvious….
The man is fat.
Doesn’t mean i don’t still love the guy. But I do wish he wasn’t having an awful year.
and you wage endless war in trying to convince the world that he is overweight. Do you happen to know exactly how much he weighs?
September 26th, 20128:45 pm
Two bad calls on Freddie.
Home plate umpire know that its irrelevant where the catcher catches the ball?? I mean geez!
September 26th, 20128:47 pm
No, we are both amazed at your obsession – you make George’s obsession with DOB’s work schedule seem like a minor quirk…
“Cab and VJ wage endless war”
You bring it up, for the 1152nd time, and they’re the ones at fault?
I disagree with the weight being the issue for Mac. Bat speed….poor mechanics…injuries..too heavy of a bat ( remember when Mac when to a lighter Ash bat and started crushing the ball?) but its not his weight.
September 26th, 20128:48 pm
An awful lot….
I would guess 230.
But i’m not looking to get into the whole fat mac thing again either.
September 26th, 20128:49 pm
Where does one get a law degree in figuring out the weight of men in loose fitting clothing?
September 26th, 20128:50 pm
You guys are overreacting….
So someone that is 6′3″ and 230 is fat?
We talk baseball, other sports, music, movies, BBQ and whatever (except politics or religion)
