MLB- Freddie Freeman redemption
Freddie Freeman with some nice redemption for last season with his postseason-clinching walk-off home run. Freeman made the final outs that knocked out the Braves last season– hitting into a double play in the 13th inning of a 4-3 loss to the Phillies on the final day of the 2011 season. He went 1-for-13 in that series. Also of note on Freddie Freeman. When he’s started this season, the Braves are 84-54. When he doesn’t, the Braves are 5-11

I give the Braves credit for comming back out there and having a good year, but seems like many are forgetting about last September, like it was all right.
Sept 2011 will never be all right as long as time exists. Its history that cannot and never will be reversed.

But I am not depressed and miserable, just angry about last yr. And there is more work to be done.
I am happy the Braves came up with a good yr but for me I cannot get over last Sept, sorry. I cannot let that go.
There is forgiveness but not forgetfulness. And they really burnt me last yr — hope we have a good long post season run.

I guess so Half Empty. To me this win is nice but bittersweet cause of last yr — most fans can get over it better than I can.
I never never will get over it and will take it to my grave. But still love the team, hate the disappointment of 2011.

US Navy — I am happy about the win like all of them. It was a comeback effort.
But, there is more work to do. And these guys CAN do it, they have done far more than I thought they would.
If they have a long run and just get to the WS, I just might be able to let go of last yr.
Just want a good long post season run, and even if they lose a 6 or 7 game WS I will actually be happy. If they win it all, I might let the whole thing go.
There is alot more work too do — that is all. And they have done good work.

TO his credit Fredi is a legit MOY candidate expecially if he has a long post season run. Why not?
And in the Frank Wren era, in spite of the Liberty Media payroll he has two teams that made the post season, and it really should be three in a row but we have it better than alot of baseball cities.

I get it CAB — good Sparky Anderson quite. And Freddie Freeman is not afraid to compete in the present.
And this bunch of guys just might have it in them for a good long playoff run. There is alot of charachter in this bunch.
But we have had post season disappointments before so got to wait and see. I do want to give credit where credit is due. But do not want to set myself up for too big a disappointment in case they go out in the WC game.

WOW! I was just reviewing the NL standings and suddenly noticed that not a single team in the AL has clinched postseason! Not a single one!
Cards are leading the Astros 2-0 in the bottom of the seventh, but the Astros have the tying run at plate with one out. So, might the Astros finally get off the snide and win a game?

Astros have runners at the corners with one out — tying run now at first!
Braves magic number over Cards for home field Wild Card is already down to three with eight left to play, but if the Cards lose it goes down to two. Unfortunately, we are relying upon the hapless Astros here and they proceeded to ground into an inning-ending DP!

) did not mean that as 100% directed at you but it IS a great quote (and the way I live, pretty much). And I do understand not wanting to get over excited about the playoffs, but I also believe that not celebrating this team because you are still bitter about last season is pointless and a bit…sad. What’s done is done. This is not last year’s team. (Disclaimer: I do actually like you and find most of your comments interesting or relevant or at the very least entertaining. I just wish you could let yourself enjoy this year
