2 outs, no one on, down by a run, your best power hitter trying to juice one. Bell made a good pitch.

Man, he just hates to not swing lately. Gotta look to get on base with Chipper on deck and Freeman in the hole. Took it the other way for crying out loud…..

This is the frustrating part of the Braves…if we give up 3…we’re in trouble.

I really dislike the 3-0 swing. That ball was outside the zone and he should only been swinging at a pitch if it was in one particular area that where he could drive the ball out of the ballpark. That was a terrible at bat with the Braves trailing by one run and Chipper on deck.

The Chipper farewell tour has indeed become a tiresome affair.

The Braves publicity people must have sent out press releases to every team strongly encouraging them to lavish Chipper with gifts throughout the season.

Not to say he’s undeserving but It’s been a little unspontaneous.

And the non-stop promos; it’s getting to be a little much.

If you lose your respect for Medlen because he allowed 3 runs on 2 HR, you should’ve lost respect for Huddy after he gave back 5-6 runs leads multiple times.

Both guys are good, Medlen is better right now.

This is nice and a step in the right direction.

We still have to hold off STL, there is no excuse for the Braves not to.

I do not expect to catch the Nats, just beat out STL and win the WC. That is all I ask for now.

But do not forget that no matter what happens, it still does not take away and erase the history of what happened last yr, the sting of September of 2011 should never be forgotten.

I am still mad about last yr even if they win it all, its not complete redemption for that collapse in my book.
