Phillies shut out by Astros, lose 5-0. Such bums….
All Het Up
September 15th, 201210:51 pm
It is amazing what tries to pass as a poster these days
September 15th, 201210:52 pm
September 15th, 201210:57 pm
Look out USC
September 15th, 201210:58 pm
Looks like beating a bad Arkansas team is not so bad after all.
September 15th, 201210:59 pm
What is that supposed to mean? I never said it was bad.
September 15th, 201211:02 pm
Ace is always looking to start something, cab
September 15th, 201211:07 pm
That little back for the cardinal can hit it
September 15th, 201211:09 pm
And the kid comes back from a broken BACK and runs wild. Who was that clown that stated usc planned to deliver a message to the sec? usc is back… That’s why blane left. Blane caint hang. Are we really trying to compare dj to fg getting run?
September 15th, 201211:11 pm
Then again, some women arent exactly the most rational thinkers out there @Cletus
how would you know? I doubt many would bother to talk to an obnoxious, sexist pig like yourself
September 15th, 201211:14 pm
Isn’t college one foot in bounds? If so, looks like the USC guy caught it at first glance.
September 15th, 201211:15 pm
Yes, it’s one foot (but it would not be the first big call the refs missed tonight)
September 15th, 201211:19 pm
They’re trying to comeback…. need to win, or it’ll be a huge upset. ranking would sure take a hit.
September 15th, 201211:20 pm
It sure would, but Stanford is ranked too I believe so that might mitigate the fall some
Wouldn’t be a huge upset. Stanford is not Louisiana Monroe…
Stanford is bringing it! It’s just about over…
Holly Anderson @SIHolly
San Jose State scored more against Stanford than the Trojans have managed thus far.
September 15th, 201211:21 pm
Unfortunately as an LSU fan I have to root for Stanford now
September 15th, 201211:23 pm
Aren’t you an FSU fan? If so I guess you are rooting for Stanford too, TOBF
Chin up cab there will be other saturdays, and you’re 9ers look good
September 15th, 201211:24 pm
Indeed, Het Up.
September 15th, 201211:25 pm
I’m ok when USC loses and plays well. Tonight the offense looked awful (not to take anything away from Stanford’s D, but we are better than what we showed). Oh well…
cab seems like a nice person so I am not going to crow about it here
They’re back allright.
September 15th, 201211:26 pm
UGA “fan” as well (because of my parents, my mom is an alumnus). Can’t see UGA going as far as FSU though…
I predicted we’d win 6-4, was almost right.
BAN THIS GUY FOR THIS ALONE
Fire Lane Kiffin! Hire Bobby Valentine! BWAHAHAHAHAAHA!
September 15th, 201211:27 pm
There are probably a lot of Ga fans here I would think.
September 15th, 201211:29 pm
Tonight the offense looked awful (not to take anything away from Stanford’s D
All you geux tigers and tide roolers regognize there is a new sheriff in town and his name is Ugga lX
September 15th, 201211:30 pm
Regardless of how Falcons fans feel about Bobby Petrino
I don’t know about other Falcon fans but I was happy to see him go. Of course he could have been more of a man about it not lied, but the again lying is what he does, so there’s that.
It would have been fun to see what he could have done with a motivated Vick back then, though.
Losing our 3 year All-American center certainly didn’t help
September 15th, 201211:31 pm
All Het Up-
‘preciate it. I’m sure there are plenty that will…
September 15th, 201211:32 pm
What do you say, @RealCJ10? http://pic.twitter.com/J019B5ho
September 15th, 201211:34 pm
If I was a woman, I think I’d rather a man cheat on me…than go all O.J. on me! Then again, some women arent exactly the most rational thinkers out there.
Interesting choices there. Are you under judicial supervision by chance?
You might want to stay away from phrases like “rational thinkers”, too.
September 15th, 201211:36 pm
Never had any sympathy for Petrino after what he did to Atlanta. I have sympathy for the Arkansas program after what he did to them this year, though.
I thought the fake field goal and draw play at 2:30(?) were mistakes.
Chipper Jones @RealCJ10
That photo is what its all about!!! That makes me feel like its all been worth it. Wish I knew who that little boy was…
September 15th, 201211:38 pm
I see Ross struckout a few times again. He’s terrible. Hope McCann gets back quick because Ross is an automatic out now that he’s hurting.
@Bat I think we are all set with Smitty and Matty can’t wait till Monday night
September 15th, 201211:41 pm
Yeah, chip. Things worked out well. I’m looking forward to the game, too. I haven’t had a chance to see the Falcons yet this year.
September 15th, 201211:42 pm
@cab your exact words are blowing out a bad arkansas team is not as impressive as beating a ranked Stanford team
How soon we forget.
September 15th, 201211:43 pm
The Stanford/ USC games a good one. At least what I saw of it.
I see Ross struckout a few times again. He’s terrible.
And the worthless bum singled and scored the winning run…
Louisianna Monroe almost beat Auburn today.
September 15th, 201211:45 pm
When I lived in PCB FLA I used to go watch them at Pineapple willeys a few buckets of Fosters and even if they lost I won
ACE not good at understanding nuance…
Yes- but I did not say it was a bad win. But Arkansas is not a good team and if USC had beaten Stanford, it would have been a better win than Alabama beating Arkansas. You implied it was a bad win.
September 15th, 201211:46 pm
didn’t they pinch run for Ross with Baker?
September 15th, 201211:47 pm
Not good for our Ark boys…
Danny Kanell @dkanell13
Well that was quick… RT @sds: We’re hearing that John L Smith is potentially out at Arkansas. Working to confirm.
Bobby Petrino… the gift that keeps on giving
September 15th, 201211:48 pm
Yes, but without Ross it doesn’t necessarily happen…
September 15th, 201211:49 pm
I believe I’ll stick with Bama.
September 15th, 201211:50 pm
The problem with “watching” on the phone, and then reading DOB’s excellent article (in which that relatively minor bit of exchange is not mentioned)…more than likely Ross would not have been thrown out advancing on either walk or the HBP…
yes I agree with that VJ
September 15th, 201211:51 pm
And we could have avoided the 9th inning drama if Ross had been catching…all Fredi’s fault…
September 15th, 201211:52 pm
more than likely Ross would not have been thrown out advancing on either walk or the HBP…
You must not have seen how slow he was…
Chip, I go over to Destin to a sports bar to watch sometimes and the scenery is always good, so I know what you mean. Didn’t have time last weekend.
I was just letting you know in case you missed it
September 15th, 201211:53 pm
Just a game. I’ll get over it
September 15th, 201211:56 pm
Bamas aight just sayin could be the tide is turning there will be a reckoning
September 15th, 201211:58 pm
No, I appreciate it – lost in the fog of victory…
September 16th, 201212:01 am
Of course, only one of us lost a game where our quarterback threw a winning TD pass with 36 seconds left – only to have it called back for being barely beyond the line of scrimmage…
September 16th, 201212:03 am
Paul – pay attention – he hired the woman he was having an affair with. We know you are a misogynist who does not care, but normal people do…
September 16th, 201212:04 am
So what, he lied and ran away. I’m not interested in being “fair” to Petrino. He got paid.
September 16th, 201212:05 am
misogynist is too complex a word for Paul… get out the dictionary, bud!
dodgers tie it up
September 16th, 201212:07 am
Fire John L. Smith! Hire Bobby Valentine! BWAHAHAHAHAHA!
Anyway, nice win for the Braves today. A sweep would be sweet
September 16th, 201212:08 am
Nice to see Freeman hitting the ball hard, too. Hopefully he gets on a roll.
Braves won, Bama won and all (well maybe not quite all) is right in the world. Good night and may God bless you all.
September 16th, 201212:10 am
Not the first time PL has been called a misogynist here, I’m sure of that.
September 16th, 201212:11 am
I want the Cardinals.
I don’t want the Dodgers.
You too, DbMac. Take care
I think about all the people here who called for Medlen to be added top the rotation LONG before he was. Ridiculous, huh?
and you sir
The A Bomb
September 16th, 201212:13 am
This guy Cruz is becoming the Dodgers’ version of Prado. Unbelievable.
Apparently, you pay no attention…
September 16th, 201212:14 am
Sometimes, i will take pity on people when they make posts that don’t quite come to fruition – but, in some cases, not so much…
NO MORE FREDI
September 14th, 2012
Braves lose 2 of 3 to Nats this series. Come on Phillies! Kill off fat Fredi in Atlanta.
September 16th, 201212:15 am
That’s exactly who I was looking for… they look so foolish now. But yep, my positivity is evil.
Peace out, folks.
John Sterling sounds like a sobbing, slobbering toddler after a Yankee win.
The Yankees… Wa-iiiinnnn!
September 16th, 201212:19 am
FOX Sports: MLB @MLBONFOX
Braves. Dodgers. Cardinals. We’ve got a three-way tie in the NL Wild Card race.
Umm, no we don’t….
September 16th, 201212:22 am
Who out there?
Give ‘em hell, Mitchell
September 16th, 201212:25 am
September 16th, 201212:28 am
Hey, let’s change….”.that’s an A-bomb for A-Rod” to the blog friendly: that’s an A-bomb from The A-Bomb. What you say Mitchell?
Braves Sunday night baseball, Falcons Monday night football, times are good.
September 16th, 201212:30 am
I’ve been saying that for years.
September 16th, 201212:35 am
Through the woodland, through the valley
Comes a horseman wild and free
Tilting at the windmills passing
Who can the brave young horseman be
He is wild but he is mellow
He is strong but he is weak
He is cruel but he is gentle
He is wise but he is meek
Boy two SEC teams, well three really stunk it up today: ranked from poorest to poor:
1) Kentucky looses to Western KY in OT 32-31….Wildcats are not with it yet.
2) Ole Miss 66-31 in 4th with Texas….no depth but have some life.
3) Aubin barely bye ULM…….another OT tilt vs. the big bad Sun Belt Conference squad.
September 16th, 201212:36 am
Sorry – IPodding…
September 16th, 201212:37 am
From Gordon to Grand Funk…
September 16th, 201212:38 am
@The A Bomb….hope you see the joke in that less than original reference?
All the stories coming back to me,
From my friends and the people that I don’t want to see.
The things you say I know just couldn’t be true,
At least not until I hear them from you.
September 16th, 201212:40 am
I’m your Captain–yea, yea, yea, yea…….”.I’m getting closer to my home”
September 16th, 201212:41 am
I’m changing, rearranging–everything in my life
September 16th, 201212:42 am
Followed by a certain Wet Sprocket…
Larry R.Glass, Sr.
September 16th, 201212:43 am
A Series win over the division leader. A chance for back to back divisional series sweeps. And all you people can do is demand trades of “non-productive” players because you don’t like the way they’re playing. Well, get over it, folks. This team is playing one hundred and fifty percent better in September 2012 than they were last year at this time, OR HAVE WE FORGOTTEN THAT SO SOON? Lighten up and enjoy the ride, folks. I believe this team will still be playing baseball deep into October. Remember this is Chipper’s finale, and the old man is going to go out with a loud bang. Mark my words. Yogi is still right….It AIN’T over ’til…….!
tater, the team from the west is done.
usc was never in the game.
September 16th, 201212:44 am
Sorry I Poddying……….goodnight!
