No worries. Yeah, It’s just the name stealers and the disgusting insulters that get reported. General Stupid typically gets ignored
September 15th, 20126:38 pm
Most likely true Legion
Please Bourn. I’ll give you a dollar for a hit
Anyone that does not think Paul deserved to be banned (repeatedly) is probably Paul.
September 15th, 20126:39 pm
Easy money to bet Bourn strikes out. Atleast your odds are great.
got a bit of a shot here
Also, since so many people have reported him, I can’t imagine you can say with certainty that it was VJ that got him banned.
September 15th, 20126:40 pm
I think it’s funny when anyone insults VJ or makes an insulting comment to women – cabravesfan gets all spun up. Me thinks the lady doth get much too spun up
well, he walked. That’s fine.
Great chance here, but Prado is the DP King…
Last thought- you allege 2 people in the 5 years+ that VJ has been on the blog. Not exactly a strong case for you
September 15th, 20126:41 pm
VJ got banned? I mean, talking about William & Mary football shouldn’t get you banned. Maybe, suspended, but not banned.
Bourn worked a good plate appearance, now it is time for Prado to keep the line moving.
Hugo Z Hackenbush
PL is the leader of the banned…
September 15th, 20126:42 pm
I don’t concern myself too much with what people say to VJ- he can handle himself- but of course I will defend him. As for some of the insulting comments regarding women, again, why should I ignore comments like that?
Dang, at least Simmons got moved over. Let’s go JHey! Even if it’s against Mike Gonzales…
Hanson labored through 5 innings today….meaning that the bullpen will be taxed for at least 4 innings today (assuming we dont go into extra innings). I dont see how giving up 4 runs in 5 innings is anywhere close to being “good” today.
We’re talking about Tommy Hanson here.
2 ER in 5 IP, with only 1 BB is actually good, for him at least.
September 15th, 20126:43 pm
No- VJ did not get banned
September 15th, 20126:44 pm
Heyward is 0-7 vs. Mike Gonzalez, with 2 Ks for his career. Let’s make it 1-8
sorry about that!
most likely just another Paul avatar cab
Heyward batter be patient and bring home Simmons. I am tired of the failure with runners in scoring position.
Me still think the lady is getting a bit spun up. But that’s ok, VJ doesn’t have to impress you
Yeah, I know…
good luck against Gonzo
September 15th, 20126:45 pm
I like VJ’s snarkiness.
September 15th, 20126:46 pm
Need a wild pitch here.
Come on Braves.
They seem afraid of Heyward…. wanta pitch to the hurting Rossy
I like VJ’s snarkiness too
(and considering how sarcastic I tend to be, we work well together)
September 15th, 20126:47 pm
What was that?
Another K… sigh
Someone should text VJ and let him know he’s being slandered here on the blog, oh wait, he doesn’t read ALL his texts, does he?
That is f’ing terrible.
That was a Dan Uggla-like At Bat right there. Can’t resist a terrible breaking ball in the dirt….
September 15th, 20126:48 pm
I like VJ’s snarkiness too
Me 3…. love his sarcasm, nolie’s too. I just like sarcasm in general.
too many lefties who can’t hit lefties come up too often in critical situations.
Heyward was fooled pretty bad 3-1. That was the key pitch in the at bat. If he has a patient mindset in that situation and recognizes the breaking ball, the Braves have the bases loaded. More frustration with runners in scoring position, especially after the leadoff man reached.
September 15th, 20126:49 pm
You look for signs that this team will snap out of it and there just aren’t any.
That was bad.
With Rossy on deck, I would have given JHey the green light. That 3-0 fastball was a MEATBALL, which he takes and then swings at the shyt pitch in the dirt… lol
September 15th, 20126:51 pm
J Hey not battin a thousand can we trade him for a nat with a bat?
September 15th, 20126:52 pm
Wow, Avilan throws one pitch and that’s it for him.
I’m calling back to back doubles by Rossy and Freeman. Freeman gets the cycle, Kimbrel comes in and strikes out the side. Ballgame.
FIRE FREDI GONZALEZ
September 15th, 20126:53 pm
Uggla goes yickity this inning with a game winner. BOOK IT.
Any one know if we even came close to getting Liriano? I dont remember hearing anything but he was my preference.
September 15th, 20126:54 pm
VJ is not out to harm anyone. What I am witnessing herein seems to be some playful jabs supporting the ousted parties who, in all honesty, need to approach the proper protocol for reinstatement. The fact that you all appear to possess a vendetta suggests your disposed friend(s) are not ready to contribute favorably to future blog activity.
You think the Nationals don’t get one run in that situation?
Not to recuse our bullpen but an 89 win team in the middle of September doesn’t come away empty handed with that opportunity.
You could either take a slim lead or put the game away.
The Braves got nothing.
September 15th, 20126:55 pm
O’Flaherty worked a fine 8th inning. Time to score the go ahead run.
September 15th, 20126:56 pm
It’s inexcusable to misuse “recuse.”
How is Ross hitting 260? The guy never gets basehits when i watch him
September 15th, 20126:57 pm
Is there anyone on the Nats’ bullpen with an ERA of 3.00 or higher?
McFann =Ô= =Ô= =ô=
DOB said BMac left with tendonitis in his right hamstring…
September 15th, 2012
Not necessarily but we all agree with your frustration. Even the best teams fail 7 out of 10 times. We just do it A LOT MORE.
Do we pinch run for Rossy?
September 15th, 20126:58 pm
need a double
Nice start to the 8th with the ross single. No we need a Freeman double.
September 15th, 20126:59 pm
need a homer now
Not until he’s in scoring position, VA. Don’t want to be down to just Boscan.
What the heck was that? Ross worked a full count and then Freeman walks up on weakly pops out on the first pitch. Inexcusable.
September 15th, 20127:00 pm
Dan can…..now that he is baaaaack
A Uggla homer right now would really get some fans back on his side.
So is “inexcusable” the new “pathetic”?
September 15th, 20127:01 pm
mcfann i meant updates for your computer so you could log on to twitter lol
Chipper's Southern Bell
What’s the attendance
See, now we pinch-run for Ross. Let’s go Chipper!!!
I like Chipper up in this situation.
Amazing spot for Chipper!!! Time for another big moment in his final season baby!
September 15th, 20127:02 pm
Uggla with a useless walk….
Chipper says he wants to be in spots like this. Time for two rickety old knees to carry us!
OK…Fredi prone to making smart moves now—refreshing indeed
September 15th, 20127:04 pm
Wow so nice to have Simmons in this spot instead of Janish
bases loaded for Simba!
Loaded!!! Let’s go Simba… don’t hit it up the middle, please
Oh! Haha—sorry!… I don’t know…Twitter was working fine for me right up until game time—then it popped…
oh no. they have us right where they want us now
September 15th, 20127:05 pm
Up to Simmons. Just need a solid fly ball.
That hit him! I swear it did!
Take one for the team!!!
Can the Braves just go ahead and break through with runners in scoring position and score a run?
That hit the jersey!!! Should be a HBP
Simba is up in the biggest spot of the day!!!
Come on Simmons. That’s a game winning run you just ducked out of the way on.
Gotta take one for the team there Simmba
September 15th, 20127:06 pm
I wouldn’t mind a squeeze here… would prefer to let Simba swing the bat though, get 2 runs
Waiting for a wild pitch…
September 15th, 20127:07 pm
YES!!! We will take it baby!!!
got that jersey that time
Yeah baby – took that one for the team – now where’s Kimmy???????????
RISP I can taste a run….now there was a good hit
Will certainly take that!!!!!!!!!!!!
September 15th, 20127:08 pm
Well, the ump got it right that time! Now it’s time to blow this thing wide open. Let the Nats know that they might get the division, but we can hang with them come the NLDS
We talk baseball, other sports, music, movies, BBQ and whatever (except politics or religion)
