cornjolio, of course his numbers are unacceptable. But blaming him after a 3 game losing streak when he’s one of the few guys actually hitting right now is ridiculous.
Rick C, I would agree with you to a point. While those 2-out stats are excellent (in just 58 ABs) overall he is hitting .226 (115 ABs) with runners in scoring position and any number of outs.
And the armchair pusssies keep the tears flowing….. What a bold bunch you whinies are…. Get those resumes ready, armchairs… I expect every one of you to apply for the Braves’ manager position next year (ain’t gonna happen)…. bunch of prigolas aren’t fit for anything but blubbering on a daily basis like the little girls you all are…..

he doesn’t hit when it counts !
No pressure, like in Miami, he hit .248
In Atlanta, where the Braves are expected to win, he chokes.

With RISP and 2 outs, Uggla has hit 293 with a 461 OBP and 603 SLG this season. I’d say that’s hitting when it counts, wouldn’t you?
