By the way, nice to see Uggla sporting that .364 average over the last 10 days. How does he look tonight?

Take my word, he is soon going to settle back in to his .200 and below routine. Soon, as in tonight.

Game, Set, Match THANK YOU PAUL MAHOLM. As usual, Fredi G. is right on top of things!
FREDI will have him pitching great, in the quotes tomorrow.
Paul Maholm joins the CHOKERS that are your 2012 Atlanta Braves…The same Losers of the EPIC CHOKE of 2011.

My Chiefs got their asses handed to them at home by a very good Falcons team. Definitely an embarrassing home/season opener.

But they had 4 defensive starters out. 2 of them prow-bowl players.

This Braves team makes me proud to be a Chiefs fan. The Chiefs are less embarrassing…. and they have the worst record in the AFC since 2007.

Fredi Gonzalez’s team management skills makes Romeo Crennel look like a genius.

Can I ask you guys something. who is your ace? Right now we have 4 of them. Yes, Kendrick would out pitch any Brave right now. 6-2. Wow. Don’t let last year get too far from your memory. the way the Phil’s are playing and the Brewers the 1 game playoff may be in Philly. Don’t laugh. A year ago if I said the Braves will not make WC you.’d have laughed. in ‘07 the Rockies went 15-1 to end the season. Why can’t the Braves go 1-15. If anybody can do it it’s the historically choking Braves. 7-2 now. You may as well turn off the sets. They have a better chance of beating Phil’s in a one gamer than winning this guy. I asked for one thing please beat the Brewers when it was 2-0. Somebody give me 100-1 that the Phils catch the Braves. Look what happened last year, the Braves went 10-21 in Sept. I can see them so snakebite now that that Atlanta Braves crysong ‘choke’ is in their head. If that were to happen and I were a Braves fan it wouldn’t last long. They phuckig suck.

I feel sorry for people who bought playoff tickets today since Ticketmaster won’t refund the service charge when Fredi finishes destroying this team with his idiocity. It is time to trade Heyward while he still has trade value and try and build for the future before the rest of these clowns rub off on him and he starts loafing on every play like the rest of these cheap Wren bums.

This loss is on Chipper. Makes error then next play dives for ball but cant even bother throwing and then can’t throw our Rameriez. Instead of being so consumed with Twitter he should sit on focus on his defense. I would take Fransico and his 0-4 with 4k’s over this type of pathetic Jones performance.

Well I think there have been enough starts now by Maholm for me to come out and crow a bit about how I was right and that he would revert back to his historical form just when the Braves needed him the most. He has been terrible and Wren should lose his job for not wrapping up a trade for Greinke or trying again to get Dempster. Anything less than a first round series win should have Fredi and Wren looking for work elsewhere in 2013. Chipper, I feel for ya man because you deserved so much more than this incompetence of management during your farewell tour.

Is anybody REALLY surprised? Maholm’s numbers vs Milwaukee’s were downright brutal. This game was a loss before they even took the field.

And now, they get to go home and lose AT LEAST 2 of 3 to the Nats.

The nice thing about last year’s collapse? How relaxing the postseason was.

This year, we have to endure a 1 game playoff, and help our soul should we win that…

And then Fredi lives for another year and we perfect our Cubs strategy.

They spent their load on Soriano, we have Uggs.

something i haven’t seen with the Braves team for many years is a REFUSE TO LOSE attitude… and resilience. (not 1 game, but every game)

It is the reason this team is so soft, so fragile and can not win consistently.

Both have been missing for the last several years.
And is the MAIN reason this team has not reached it’s expectations.
