It is so hilarious that 10 games can shorten the length of a contract 4 years, cut the value of it $50 million and get a guy released instead of having his arb years bought out.
Or so some bloggers think, if you call what they do thinking. A new set of morons every week.
top two guys in the brewers order are getting on base and knocking in runs, the braves top 2 are not … that’s why the brewers are now in a good spot to finish the sweep
Can’t they replace Chipper at 3rd with Prado? His defense has become a liability and this game is too tight right now. He has only been hitting singles of late. We need a strategist as manager not a fearful manager
Chipper not being capable of playing decent defense is evident virtually every game now. Seems like he’s making at least one play a night where he boots the ball. Some are called errors. Some are generously not scored errors. I suppose that is in defference to the future hall of famer.
Chipper should speak to reporters tonight and tell them how HE contributed to this loss instead of insinuating someone else isn’t producing. He’ll probably blame it on Janish like he did when he dropped a pop up a couple of weeks ago.
Thought the Braves were past the September swoon thing. Obviously not.
I mean, we’re playing Milwaukee for Christ’s sake–a sub-.500 team entering this series. They didn’t even bother to wait til the 7th inning to blow us out tonight. What a crock.
ATL’s pro teams are simply incapable of taking that “next step” toward a championship. After nearly a half-century of this incompetence (excepting ‘95 Braves), you truly have to wonder if it will ever happen.
Maholm sucks and clueless Fredi should be fired. It was obvious that Maholm had nothing left, but dumb Fredi waits until the game is totally out of hand before he pulls him. The guy is an awful manager.
The Brewers have taken advantage of every mistake the Braves have made in this series and unfortunately, the Braves have made plenty lf mistakes. Wow. This is terrible.
Every night fg leaves pitchers in too long and this is the result: meltdown III
as I said 2 weeks ago. Its done, we just to have to wait until the last week of the season to be out of the playoffs.
All those people that were so excited about the Paul Maholm signing are now wondering what happened.
