Boog is at ESPN at probably double or triple the pay he received in ATL, plus he gets to live in NY. I doubt he ever looked back. He is a smart kid and a terrific announcer.

This goes for you, too, DOB, and for anyone else who’s
listening.
Josh Willingham’s OBI% is 16.2%, which is tied for second lowest among the
the top 30 OBI producers. Indicative that he’s not so much productive as
the beneficiary of more RBI opportunities.
Compare that to Freeman’s OBI% of 17.4%, or any of the following: DWright
(17.2%), RBraun (17.5%), AMcCutchen (17.8%).
The best run producers this year have OBI%s of 20+ — JHamilton (22.8%),
AGonzalez (21.1%), MMontero (20.8%), JLucroy (20.7%), MCabrera (20.6%),
TColvin (20.6%).
Alex Gordon has an OBI% of 15.5% — compare that to Prado (15.9%), Jones
(15.8%) and Bourn (15.7%).
Other Braves’ OBI%s — Uggla (13.2%), Heyward (12.4%).

Isn’t this just the typical Braves performance? Maholm will have to go as deep as he can without allowing a run, and the bullpen will have to be perfect. Take nothing away from Gallardo, a very good pitcher, but it’s just disgraceful that the Heyward homer is their only RBI in the series.

Guys, is it too much to ask to beat the Brewers 1 game out of 3. I say they won’t. We recently swept Washington for you not that’s gonna do any good but you beating Brews will put us by ourselves 3 out. Hearing that you may want to lose as nobody wants anything to do with the Phillies in playoffs. Howard is hitting about half his weight so if he gets hot and the way the starters are rolling they’d be favorite over everybody.

Simmons has a minor ankle sprain, will be ready for Nats. Not everybody has a sleepwalking offense this month. Giants just hung a 5-spot on the Rockies in the 1st; that’s more runs than Braves have scored in their last 31 innings combined. Cards lose again, so maybe we will back into the playoffs after all.

If I had my choice of a guy to start a team around and a non pitcher I’d take Heyward in a second. Lefty, speed, great fielder. Stanton whiffs too much and hits too many homers when the Marlins are getting killed. Need I say more. C’mon, we’ll see how clutch thay are. Never mind useless just hit into
DP. Why would you even play him. You’ve got a lineup with Prado at 2nd and me in left would beat useless.

Equilibrium of the Braves is off. You cannot bat Uggla and McCann back to back. I would have Constanza or Prado first ( Bourn on the bench) and Uggla bat 5 and McCann 8. Too predictable and inconsistent. They both killed that potential rally. What do you bloggers think?

Please trade Uggla. He has been a huge failure and look what you are paying him. You move Prado to play everywhere in the infield and LF as well and he has played daily and given over 100%. Move Prado back to second and unload Uggla during the off season. And one other thing, if the Braves go to post season, do us all a favor and leave Uggla off the post season roster. Maybe he can get a personal trainer job since weight training has apparently taken the place of batting practice.
