It is kind of strange how much more often the Braves win with Constanza or Johnson in the lineup. Guess FG hasn’t noticed that yet. Still has his blinders on.
this hitting is ridiculous. We have been unlucky with Overbay’s drive and with Chipper’s and Heyward’s drives. They all just missed but close only counts in horseshoes and grenades
offense only has 6 more outs to work with. If Huddy and the pen can hold them, the bats are going to need to double their offensive output in this series to take the lead
These Braves are driving me to drink. Wait I already do that. These Braves are making me not want to drink anymore. Come on Braves show some fire power please!

RHSP GUS SCHLOSSER has his second exceptional start in a row in these play-offs winning a tense 1-0 victory for the HILLCATS and putting them on the brink of Championship victory with a 2-1 lead in the five game series.
I’ll blame the guy batting 216 a lot sooner than the guy batting 300. It’s called sound baseball. You play people who hit. You don’t play people who don’t hit. It’s very, very simple.
nolie, are you talking to me? He has moved his average from 209 to 216, and so we go with him?…old man
no matter what the average started at 1o days ago, since then he is the hottest hitter on the team. as long as he hits he will stay in the lineup, those previous failures have nothing to do with now. He stops hitting again, they will sit him again. not really all that hard to figger out.
hey look, the manager is finally going to make a pitching change!
Nothing like waiting 2 or 3 batter to long to make the change.
now, we’re down 3 w/ the bases loaded.
OH, that’s right… we’ve been scoring so many runs lately. my bad.
there still must be something wrong with the chemistry of the club and manager. I have never seen a team play so hot and cold with wins and losses. The failures with RISP just kill us. I do not know if we get tight or if we just lose focus but there are times when it is obvious that something is missing.
we are still sitting pretty for the playoffs but games like the last 2 against no name pitching as well as the games versus Colorado don’t give me much confidence that we will advance far in October, even if we get past the play in game.
What would we do when we face 3 top pitchers?? We showed our prowess against Philly recently. Unless we are in “hot” mode we will have a quick exit
And some on here trust this offense in a one game playoff…ncb
