September 11th, 20128:00 pm
Hudson hitting .235 and McCann hitting .232 & Uggla hitting .215
Pretty damn sad.
September 11th, 20128:01 pm
Arn Tellem Agency was Furcal’s representative during the fiasco when Schuerholz swore he would never deal with them again
A day off for FREDDY and yet a another day off for DOB. I saw his post saying how much he is enjoying his vacations. His Angel at AJC is looking out for him.
September 11th, 20128:02 pm
Oh, I was not saying you were trying to argue with me! I’m just not one to get into lengthy discussions about the roster, so I wanted to end it before it took on a life of it’s own
September 11th, 20128:06 pm
Adding stupid slaps to my brick business next season. Sure money maker.
Coach (2012 Fredi's Beisbol Fandango)

Huddy’s gonna win tonight, bank on it.
Michael Bourn is only four away from his career high of 140 strikeouts (2009 and 2011). #Braves
He’ll pass that by at least 10, I’m afraid… Don’t resign!
September 11th, 20128:09 pm
You can just say “hi” to me and move on…
Michael Bourn’s 140 strikeouts needed 157 G in 2009 and 158 G in 2011. This year, his 136 strikeouts have needed only 141 G.
Er, makes that he’ll pass by 20. Yikes! He’s striking at out once a game.

Bob Dylan uses a fake name. That’s not his real name. I hate music artists with fake names.
September 11th, 20128:11 pm
I see that the moron of a million names is back tonight. we are so blessed
Hi! (I don’t recall you saying hi to me either! )
September 11th, 20128:12 pm
His Ks are higher – His HRs are higher
Personally I’d prefer 75 fewer Ks if it meant zero HRs with his speed.
September 11th, 20128:13 pm
Outta here for game. LETS GET BACK TO WINNING WAYS. Have a good one y’all, nite all.
Come on HUDDY!
I said “Hi all..”
Where’s VJ tonight?
September 11th, 20128:14 pm
He’s working at the moment. Will be home in about half an hour
(I am not all! I am special )
September 11th, 20128:15 pm
I was afraid I scared you away last night…
Bourn going to get more than 10 mil next year is a joke.
September 11th, 20128:16 pm
I can tell already that this guy is too good for the Braves hitters
You anywhere near as nervous as me for the Phils getting hot and getting in as the #2 WC? Doc & Lee pitching combined with the potential offense that they still have…
…not liking thoughts on them getting in.
cab, ha I didn’t see it until this morning at work. My eyes got really big for a second.
September 11th, 20128:17 pm
anyone have a guess as to what time the october 5th wild card playoff game will be?
Robert Zimmerman is one of the greatest musical artists of all time. Anyone who hates him, hates America!
We need to win this one. If I’m not mistaken Marco Estrada has given us a headache in the past. Don’t know for sure, but I think so.
September 11th, 20128:18 pm
I can tell already that this guy is too good for the Braves hitters
Indeed… I’m seeing a complete game shutout…..
No. Their biggest problem is they have to go through 4 teams to get ahead, none of whom are in the East. That is not easy to do. But if they do pull it off, so be it. We gotta beat someone, might as well be the Phillies
September 11th, 20128:19 pm
nolie being negative … life is back to normal.
September 11th, 20128:20 pm
Heck, even a perfect game…
Sorry! You caught me at a bad time
September 11th, 20128:21 pm
B to the GAME!
Announcers gave him the first inning jinx
so much for doing better in the first inning
September 11th, 20128:22 pm
Weeks has very strong hands … wonder what he does in his off time?
September 11th, 20128:23 pm
I’ll take the blame for that first run…the only game time snack I could find was a cranberry muffin. Yeah….a friggin muffin for a game snack. Sorry Braves fans…don’t point the blame at Huddy.
September 11th, 20128:25 pm
I’m doing laundry tonight – very thrilling – however the Braves tend to do well when I’m not watching the game am in the laundry room. So hopefully they’ll have one of those nights. Another random thought – tonight is a perfect night to star gaze (my laundry facility in my apt complex is in a different building so I walk outside to get to it). Not a cloud in the sky. Gorgeous. Okay I digress back to Huddy
No worries, cab. I didn’t take it too seriously.
September 11th, 20128:26 pm
“Hudson got lazy with the streaky Weeks” should be the headline if we lose 1-0. Actually, that score wouldn’t surprise me, so I will let them use that headline if they so choose.
September 11th, 20128:31 pm
Guess Johnny Venterbumb is back up to his old BUMB tricks.
He deserves to be Booed. He is a BUMB having a BUMB yr.
September 11th, 20128:32 pm
That’s funny, Kat. I just went upstairs to fold a load of laundry and came back to find us down a run. Maybe I’d better stay here and watch the game.
Damn Overbay, that looked like one of my swings.
September 11th, 20128:33 pm
Boy that was a sorry third strike swing!
“Damn Overbay, that looked like one of my swings.”
Looked like McCann’s too that inning….
Overbay filling in nicely for freeman with a strikeout.
Guess these BUMBS went back to their lack of hitting with RISP habbits again.
Dr. Disgusted sez these BUMBS have the RISP flu. Cure is a good round of Booing them for motivation purposes. Very BUMB.
September 11th, 20128:34 pm
This offense is so frustrating to watch.
September 11th, 20128:35 pm
Crazy how slow the blog gets in September. School, Football, etc I assume.
Overbay deserves to be Booed.
He is a real “O” at the plate.
It must be nice to live in a world where everyone is perfect and nobody ever makes a mistake…
This offensive is offensive. Very Politically Incorrect.
September 11th, 20128:36 pm
Seeing that the blog is basically the same thing with some different names… you’re still sane?
I imagine mostly football, Kat.
September 11th, 20128:37 pm
A mistake is the lowest achievement performed by mankind.
Too Many Mistakes = Losses.
That is Booable
I’m not here as often as I used to be. I just don’t have the patience for some of the stuff people post…
September 11th, 20128:39 pm
Watching Johnny Lester tonight — to his credit he is trying to make something of an off year.
New manager and new pitching coach and that is a start back on the ladder for them.
After McCann took his doses of catcher punishment last night, while Braun was fouling off all those pitches, the umpire walked out in front of Brian and threw about 4 new balls in a row back to the mound. Thought that was kinda cool.
I don’t really care how many K’s Bourn has. I think it stinks that he has been a .650 hitter for two months now.
Woo hoo! Mets score 2 (and still batting) and now up 2-1.
September 11th, 20128:40 pm
I’d say football…still plenty of posts from the uneducated on here…
Catchers & Home Plate Umps always look out for each other that way You are right, it is kinda cool
September 11th, 20128:41 pm
Are we going to have any offense tonight please the Brewers pitching sucks. Why cant we beat anyone we see the first time like that guy last night?
You see how often I get on now… about once every… year? lol
Phillies on their way to being 71-71 tonight. They are going to have to go 17-3 or 18-2 to make the playoffs, I’d bet. One of the Cards or Dodgers will get hot and win some games.
Love the story on Jonny Venters showing the class last night. I respect someone who faces issues head on. I only hope he turns it around, has a huge outing for us, then gets a big interview.
If JV is willing to face up to his shortcomings, I have confidence that he will work his butt off in the offseason to right his wrongs
September 11th, 20128:42 pm
He’d hit better if he hit it more often. Not much of a chance walking back to the bench.
Kevin McAlpin @KevinMcAlpin
21 of the 62 earned runs allowed by Tim Hudson have come in the 1st inning. Opponents now hitting .336 against him in the 1st.
Don’t let him start the first inning, then…Use Kimmeh!
Welcome sight seeing Simmons have a hit.
Simmons does have a Frenchy looking swing and motion.
You’re married (and if I remember, you’re wife is not a huge baseball fan…)
September 11th, 20128:43 pm
Please don’t compare any brave to Francoeur unless you want the guy off the team
Lets go Bourn
The Phillies did not quit. They will be a factor next yr.
We can appreciate the off yr the phils had cause we just might get in the postseason again.
That still does not erase last Sept. But it is a good thing and Fredi and the Boys should get credit.
September 11th, 20128:44 pm
Good bunt, Huddy.
When they put up tonight’s lineup and stats on the screen, I was proud of Huddy’s quite respectable .234 b.a. Be a hitter Big Tim!
That is how you lay down a bunt.
September 11th, 20128:45 pm
Indeed… he has holes in his swing. Hopefully he gets those fixed soon, or he’ll be an all defense SS. He’s hit up until now, though, so I’m sure he can adjust.
Those are true statements… we all have our flaws (her not liking baseball) and me… well, way to long of a list.
Milwaukee has not quit either.
This Brewer team is not going to be easy to beat.
Come on guys lets not repeat last yr.
September 11th, 20128:46 pm
just stay on the bag
Hello everybody…any offense tonight?
September 11th, 20128:47 pm
Bourn u r getting to be a strikeout king
September 11th, 20128:48 pm
Dang this offense…..
Bourn ain’t exactly showing he would be worth signing for half the farm next year. He’s been pretty pitiful since the all star break. What’s he hitting since then? .240?
I do think that Simba is more coachable and less concieted than that second rate mediocre thing that Frenchy is.
Frenchy thought he was better than he was.
I do think that Simba has baseball smarts.
Guys like Frenchy and Kelly Johnson and Jo Jo Reyes = Baseball DUMB BUMBS.
How many of you are tired of Bourn striking out in the big moments as of late? Wish the Braves had more clutch hitters!
I have no confidence in him right now. Movement, velo and command not nearly as good as early last year and the year before. He doesn’t even have the swagger any longer.
Its a shame too because in my opinion he was overused and ruined. There was a time when he was tougher on hitters than Kimmy was but no more – I hate it for him
Overuse before a kid has a chance to get a big money deal is sickening with the stuff he had.
Bourn is no Grissom. Love the speed, defense and his hot streaks, but he fades when he’s needed most.
Way to go u no hitting goofs. Looks like a losing streak coming on.
Bourn deserves to be Booed.
September 11th, 20128:49 pm
one more time..will someone please say Bourn K’s alot.
Capt., yes, I’m offended by the Braves’ lack of hitting.
