No one wants him to move on. We just don’t want to pay an over 30 center fielder Andruw Jones money.

Like I have said many times, giving up free outs is a bad idea on most nights. There are a few times when bunting is a good strategy, but most times it is just giving up and out.

Fredi is substandard.

Bourn and Prado strike out with runner at 3rd to end Braves 7th; they’re 0-for-11 with RISP tonight, after 0-for-7 last night

Another fine effort by Bourn with a runner on third and one out. How many of you are left that want to overpay this guy to stay with the Braves?

no room for error by the bullpen. No solo HRs, etc

Is there a Rolling Stones concert afterward. What a throng! That’s why players like Bourne has a better chance of being a Brave next year than you or me going up in the space shuttle. Don’t worry we don’t want him we need a righty so you can bet your season ticket money Bourne will be wearing another uniform next year. Season ticket money? you deadbeats don’t go just sit back and criticize this anemic offense. The 5 game below .500 Phillies again will lead the league in attendance. That’s why Upton will be the center fielder next year. Bourne strikes out more than Howard.
Back to my point. Why doesn’t anybody go to these games. It took a redneck band like the typical rural Atalantan to get anybody to watch these seances. The only run was on an error. You haven’t scored an earned run in 20some innings. Here’s your chance rednecks. The strikeout king of lead off batters is coming up. With the exception of that error by our second string we’d have an 8-1 record over the 3 best records in the Nl over the last couple weeks. Ready……….ah another K. If you get into the playoffs it will be 1 game. St. Louis would beat you in a 1 game series 9outta 10 games. If, I know if we started the season right now the Phil’s and Wash would be in a dogfight. You’ll probably win because your closer unless it’s a Philly player up is awesome. I’d bet big money you won’t make the playoffs. St. Louis and the Dodgers. Let’s see what massive crowd jams there way into the stadium tomorrow? What do think another 15,000? What’s that Prado 0 for 15 tonight? Now I see why you don’t go. Today the Phil’s were 2-2 with runners in scoring position and beat the second best record 6-2. If it were only June. See ya saps.

Bourn is almost automatic against lefties, or at least it seems to be so…I’m moving to the “let him move on” side for next year.

Not this year… a .280/.349/.401/.750 line against LHP this year. For his career, he does struggle aginst them more with a .250/.306/.339/.646 line.

At least you are coming over to the good side!

Let’s lock it down, ‘pen.

If the Braves do not try to start hitting with RISP than we WILL lose a playoff spot. No doubt about it.

These BUMBS are NOT trying and they are hitting BUMB & its disgraceful. They deserve to be Booed.

Kudos to Mike Minor for another game which he dealt. This is a MUST win game tonight and this team does not want it. This is not good.

The pen has to hold em NOW!!! They better shut em out cause the hitters cannot do their job.

Rookie NAT HYATT spoiled the perfect shut-out night for the three BRAVES teams. He’s savages for 3 R/ER, on two walks preceded by a hit.

Danged walks are killers. Of course reliefers who allow inherited runners to score don’t help either.

Rookie DAVE PETERSON comes on and immediately allows all three inherited to score, then settles in and picks up the save on a hit and three SO’s.

Doubles in this one by C BROWNSTEN, RF SKINNER, and rook 2B ROSS HEFFLEY

RBI’s by Lead-off CF TONY MUELLER [2], BROWNSTEN [2], and HEFFLINGER [1]
