Well, I’d love to make me a carbon copy of Mike Trout, but since that ain’t happening, we’ll have to do with the other options listed above. I’m sure I’m missing a few, though.
Anything would be better than watching Melkman try to cut off the ball before it rolls to the wall or throw it into the dirt 10 feet away again…lol

Gas was 3.95 out here in The ‘A” a week ago, whereas in NE Mississippi it was 3.35…

Exactly….phoeey on average and other such meaningless and senseless baseball numbers….
The only number that truly matters is defensive average errors per 9 innings.

The middle of the Braves order is 23, 40, and 23 years old, not 26, 30, 26. McCann is once again beat down, Uggla is once again in the tank, Janish is once again proving he can’t hit, and Bourn has worn down to boot. Dare I say, results are — expected? I learned a lot about this team in September 2011 and still have 2011 playoff tickets to remind me.
If it weren’t for Kris Medlen, where would THIS team be? In the throes of a collapse, that’s where. 2012 MIGHT yet be different; Freddi seems more willing to embrace truth and act, the bullpen is in much better shape, Chipper isn’t focused on his hunting expeditions, and Andrelton Simmons might be able to provide a spark. Still, lacking a big consistent right-handed bat in the middle of the order this team is a card short of a full deck.
