I was going to write Hanson went six inning, two runs on three hits, and how it was a huge improvement, and that it has got to be good news considering his past performances ….
Then the hits/walks kept coming, one after another.
Two on base and one out Janish and Hanson up in 100 chances we would never score a run.Cant wait for the return of Simmons I know D.O.B and chip and Joe say Janish defense didnt matter if he hit or not but hell when you had McCann and Uggla in front of him thats four out in a row.
Ladies and Gentlemen…..there you see Mr. Hanson enjoys his rest and serenity—on the team bench, no the game is not yet over….and, since we can’t talk directly to the players–we, at the least, expect some emotion….hello Tommy?
I’m not referring to other guys there though. Talking about Hanson and Hanson at 89-90 and a curve with no command isn’t one I’d want to “run out there”
Whatever. I just think it’s a pretty serious thing to call someone a habitual liar, when there is no real evidence of that…except in your mind. That’s all I’m going to say, because I am now out of here.
not sure a lie is the correct term…but when someone says one thing then another again and again and again I tend to not necessarily believe what they tell me
.Enjoy your little clique, guys. Everyone likes to pile on when someone disagrees with one of you, huh? Not unlike a bunch of schoolyard bullies. Thankfully, there are plenty of nice people on here so I can ignore the lot of you.
Big difference in you telling Ms Tiger you were at the library when you were out drinking, than FW telling a talk show that Pastornicky was not ready (then telling another he was ready later).
Like VJ states, I think ALL GM’s should be required to divulge everything that is on their minds constantly.
You called someone a liar. You can’t make a comment like that and expect people to not respond. Nobody is being disrespectful. Nobody is bullying. But people do disagree. And are expressing their opinions.
I am sorry that your inferiority complex has once again come to the fore. I will use little words henceforth so as to no offend you, my good friend and Braves’ compadre!
DS1 – I understand the difference (its why I said calling it a lie may be a bit harsh) but at the end of the day regardless of if it is dis-information or consistently changing ones mind it ends up with the same result for me – close consideration if the individual is telling me the truth (no different than government-not meant to drag it political)
Plain and simple, David needed to make contact in that situation and failed to do so. The fact is this team is performing horribly in run scoring situations right now. No fundamental baseball occurring at all.
What scares me most is that if we lose this one, as fragile as the team’s psyche is, we could be headed down another losing slope. Hoping they prove me wrong.

Correction. starting a pitcher with a heartbeat really got this team off balance.
well damn now I’m impressed with the rockies pitcher last night…he pitched damn well for a guy without a heartbeat.
It was a day game but yes, he must have pitched well. I’m sure the lineup appreciated all the walks he gave up. This way we didn’t have to hit.
