The Braves need to stop with the soft tossers. They are awesome when they have their sinkers and breaking balls working and are getting the benefit of some calls, but when they are off they can be nowhere near the plate or they will get demolished just like Maholm is doing tonight.

At the end of the day, the only real negative is that this team didn’t implode sooner. We could have gotten a ton for Hanson, Hudson and McCann. And before any of you say it: we can’t get rid of Uggla. He’s in the same boat as KK, Nate McClouth and Derek Lowe.

The Braves f’n suck. Here comes September, and here comes the collapse. So sick of watching a team and supporting a team that can’t compete payroll wise with other teams and have to sign aging and cheap ass players and hope and pray they can win. This organization doesn’t deserve to have a fan base. They choked when they could spend with Ted Turner, and they choke now. Maybe change your team colors to purple since you come so much.

Its funny really. This is supposed to be Chipper’s last year but the Braves decided to stand pat last offseason. This trading deadline we get no frontline starter or offense. For the last few months we keep hearing people say its only two months into the season, 3 months, 4 months, 5 months, 6months…we’ll catch the Nats stop panicking they’ll eventually slow down. They actually did slow down but we’ve came to a standstill and moving backward. What ever happened to the letter the FO sent out to the season ticket holders. I’d rather the Braves sink then maybe something drastic gets done to the team. Soon we’ll be like the Hawks in that free-agents will be leery about coming here if we don’t make changes. It’s still early in the game but this will be a test to see if they really want it. 8 more innings boys.

The fans that are at the game would be smart if they all got up and left let them play in an empty house. Get rid of Maholm as you said good lefty matchup. Demster is 4-1 but if Braves would of got him he would 1-4. At least these losers will not have to worry about the Nats. We will win one from Rockies we got Medlen pitching. Trade Maholm this winter he was a loser for all the years with Pirates. We looked good getting Sheets and Maholm and now there bad. WE can watch the wildcard slip away.

This team is a joke!

How can a group of grown men be so mentally weak? If they pulled a late-season choke once, you could write it off as just one of those things. But when they do it year after agonizing year, it becomes a serious indictment against that team’s character.

This could be the game that makes or breaks the 2012 Braves. We all know how emotionally fragile these guys are. If they show some heart and come back and win, they could ride that wave over the next several weeks. If they lose this game, completing a sweep at home, it could very well be the death knell for them.
