It is good to see Mike Minor get a few runs for a change.
And it was good to see Mc Cann drive the ball that last AB though it was caught.
I hope that Mac can get ONE extra base hit in September, am I asking for too much??? One XBH.
Uggla is just a lost cause.

Last I checked Freddie finally had a 2 plus WAR as he should have had all along.
Not that I am a big fan of the formula/stat but now there is NO argument that he is a legit starting everyday player.
Now Mike is getting hit hard — panic time. He was going so good now he is getting hit.
We need two more good IP from MIke. He can do it.

Looks like Monor cannot stand properity and this is brewing as a loss tonight.
Looks like we are coughing up a nice lead and that is on Mike tonite.

McCann is the one we can’t give the $12M option to without knowing how he is going to perform. Sign the option and the pressure will be on the Braves to sign him to a six year, $120Mish contract. I’d just tell him if you want the option, have surgery in the off season and the Braves will furnish the guys to guide him through his rehab. Then we’ll talk long term.
If he refuses, trade him to MN for joe Mauer

This is EXACTL why Minor is not a winner he is a loser like Jo JO and Kawakami the rest of his life.
The Braves R going on a 10 game losing streak this season is over and Moinor should have been BOOEd when he got taken out — unacceptable.

I have to politely disagree with Minor being removed from the game. He gave up a bloop, and a bunt single. I would much rather have Minor stay in rather than see Durbin allow the go-ahead run to score.

Fattboy lets another ball go to the screen. If Mc Fatty is going to bat .150 with no power his lard ass better be the best defensive catcher in the majors, obviously he is not. Fredo put Ross in the lineup now he will hit .250 and hit a bomb every 20 ab’s and base runners do not run wild on him. The difference in this game is that the Phillies catcher blocks the plate to tag a hustling Chipper and Mc Sham fails to block the plate on the tying run.
