VJim, You long ramble about how people shouldn’t complain. Also the last time I asked you what made you such an expert? Have you played or coached on any level? of course you didn’t reply.

“Seriously – to what end? This team is too flawed and has no leadership or heart. Do you really see them advancing in the postseason?”

Nope.

The one nice thing about the collapse was not losing in the first round to the Cubs, Giants or Astros. Why suffer the agony. Kimbrel tied up the game last year and I did not watch another inning of baseball until this spring.

I’m still rooting for Chipper to have a playoff end, but, I have not seen the magic out of this team except in tiny spurts.

JJ and Hanson have become total pussies. Part of it is their makeup, the other part is lack of support from the manager. Maybe they party too much.

A-Bomb — The reasons why JJ and Hanson have dumped on the bed is not Fredi’s fault, that is a combination of injuries, attitude and an overall lack of mental toughness. That is on them. They are both BUMBS.

I would be happy to see both of em gone this off season. Even Hanson looks washed up.

You know, it’s amazing….. if it were the ’80s all over again, everybody on here would be beaming about having a record 16 games over .500 heading into September, and there’d probably be about 35,000 fans at every home game.. I think we’ve been so spoiled by the success of the ’90s that anything less than a 100-win season sucks. I’m not condemning those who are upset by how things are going, but just an observation. Meanwhile, the Phils are sub .500 and yet they continue to sell out their home games.

@Nolie — Because of what happened last yr it IS signifying the begining of the end. Some of us are still mad about last September and another collapse will make us madder.

The Braves have disappointed us too many times in big games — You have to go as far back as game 2 of the 96 WS the last time they won a WS game.

Just look at the digression of players.

Jurrjens — Hanson — McCann — Hinske — Venters — Godson is the only who you really can’t explain because he’s been treated like a prince.

But if there’s one thing I do like is that Braves fans have found out that Jason Heyward, Mike Minor and Kris Medlen are some of the toughest SOBs on the planet. Look at what he did to Medlen and now look what Medlen is doing — sticking it right back up his ass.

Watch — he’ll mess with Simmons at the first chance. Freeman is due. Guy just messes with young players’ heads. That doesn’t work anymore in this day and age.

Tomahawk — I just do not like either of the sports talk stations that much. I tune in only at work during the week & Chernoff just seems to have a vendetta vs the fans (that is the way I take him). I could be wrong. And his partner is worse. Chuck Oliver gets by with very little knowledge and is somewhat vulgar and not funny.

The fan just has an arrogance as to how they do things, so I have pretty much quit listneing, prefer out of town talk (thank goodness for internet).

Fredi is the worst—-bad strategist, head-scratching lineups. throws his players under the bus, does not know how to motivate a team, and you can tell by the body language the players do not like playing for him.
