Stults has carved up Freeman (1-7, career) I don’t think PH’ing Freeman woulda helped there. We also need defense the rest of the way, so Prado/Pastornicky at SS wouldn’t have been ideal.

2 out rbis?????????

When and who came up with that stat? RBI is an rbi whether it comes with 0, 1 or 2 outs.

I doubt any 3 hitters lead in that stat. They don’t hit with 2 outs as often

IF we had a bench Janish should never be allowed to bat .Black takes his pitcher out with a lead next it be Layne another three strikeouts. Still keep saying we get wildcard and lose that game as are offense forgets to show up and Freddi for the last time will have to tell us how the guy was unhitable.Padres will get this team to the top with new owners and Black and Braves with no owner and Freddi OH WELL. Nice play by puss arm Uggla.

What a brutal ball game to watch. Janish with a brain dead at bat, with the bases loaded…first pitch pop-up. What a complete idiot. Not a brain in his head.
Little league defense, a pop fly on the in field. Really. What a choke job joke.
Ross, terrible at bats, with runners on. Prado cuts off an out at the plate. Is his head in the game? Where?
Hanson…can’t field, sure can’t pitch. No command at all @ 88 mph. Loser.
This team of Braves is not a playoff team. They are the CHOKERS 2.0 The Collapse Re-Visited. It’s who they are.
Once again the Braves spit it out, as the season wanes. They are the same Braves as last September.
Good teams find a way to win. The Braves find ways to lose. Tonight is a perfect case in point.

So, anybody really surprised that the Braves are well on their way to dropping two of three to the Padres?

Didn’t think so.

So much for … “well, the rest of the season is basically against teams under .500″

Doesn’t matter if the Braves drop series to them.

1991 braves

August 29th, 2012

Hanson is the reincarnation of Lowe. And Fredi will continue to trot him out every 5 days, and he will give the braves zero chance to win. The guy can’t throw strikes, has an 87 or 88 mph fastball with no movement, and he hangs curves 3 or 4 times every start, which lasts 5 innings. This guy never gives the braves a quality start, he over works the bull pen, and he is a cancer. He tells the manager and pitching coach to fuc- off, and yet he still gets to pitch every 5 days. This guy should be sent to Gwinnett, and to hell with him and his attitude, and his terrible delivery and his diminishing talent For everyone assuming the braves are in the playoffs, wouldn’t print tickets yet. After all, the braves have 2 starters now that they can hope will get them a quality start. If Minor continues to improve that would give them 3. But it will be hard for the braves to beat out L.A. or San Fran, for the 2nd wild card with 2 pitchers. The Cards are going to get the other wild card spot, you can count on that. So since Fredi never learns from his mistakes, he will continue to send out this head case minor league talent in Hanson, and expect a quality start. That will not happen anymore with this guy. Braves can only hope Minor keeps improving.
