Huddy is ON tonight
Citi F. Jones
Huddy is dealing.
Time for Breaking Bad, cya folks, go Braves!!!
Juan: That’s the best you can do? 454 feet? What a wimp! Pathetic!
Also, the Braves are 51-2 when scoring at least 5 runs. Which is amazing.
Even more amazing, the Braves are 46-0 when scoring at least 6 runs. No other team in baseball comes close to that.
oh, and, unjinx.
Take a seat, Angel.
August 26th, 20129:56 pm
3 hits allowed?
2 of them infield singles?
Hudson looks great tonight!
Looking like an ace…
“57″ Huddy’s count tonight is amazing
Hello Capt. We still remember those lean years at Fulton County with 3000 to 4000 in attendance. Where the attendance went up on the days Knucksie pitched.
Why is Hudson still out there after that bunt? Boooooooo!
August 26th, 20129:57 pm
First 55 pitches fastball 91-92
55-60 pitches 88-89 mph
5 runs is enough today.
4.5 games out now in the East. A win tomorrow and we are out by 4.0 games with Nationals have way tougher schedule. They play 7 vs Cardinals and 3 vs Dodgers and 6 vs Phillies.
Phillies I consider tough.
We have a shot
moronic post from a moronic poster
Clemens probably wants to make a comeback so he can pass Greg Maddux on the all-time wins list. Clemens has 354 and Maddux has 355.
The A Bomb
August 26th, 20129:58 pm
Hey guys how about about a shout out for Tim Hudson this game so far? Way to go Tim!
Buster Olney @Buster_ESPN
Question for @mlbbowman and @ajcbraves — when was the last time Hudson threw this well? Really nasty stuff..
Prado – has GOT to be the 2012 Braves MVP! Sentimental pick is Chipper, but…the guy has just been great all year.
August 26th, 20129:59 pm
Haven’t heard that enought……..all coming together tonight for the braves. Love it
Prado is something else….the ultimate team guy who does it all….
4.5 back if we hold on and still kicking.
Trade Uggla. Prado can play second.
@Ace….what? 4.00 a seat in left center with a small bag o nuts.
August 26th, 201210:00 pm
Clemens wants to come back so his hall balloting goes another five years in the future.
August 26th, 201210:01 pm
VJ, I knew you would hate that bunt call.
Hugo Z Hackenbush
James Shields isn’t a #1 pitcher by any normal standard.
Braves would trade Uggla if they could. Who would take him?
Seahawks release Terrell Owens…
Braves release Dan Uggla…
I can dream a wee bit.
August 26th, 201210:02 pm
Braves would have to take on another bad contract like soriano
Prado nice one Uggla couldn’t make that play just keep him on the bench.
I feel your pain, Citi F Jones. Raiders fan also, since the old AFL days. Not much fun right now! What do you mean by that loyalty crack, Phil? Real fans don’t have to prove anything.
Who would take Uggla?
How ’bout dem Sugar Land Skeeters!!!
CRM – Ive been a braves fan since I can remember… Last year when the braves only had to win 1 out of 5 games was enough to make someone turn their backs on em… but were all still here.. now aren’t we…
August 26th, 201210:03 pm
Capt. Those were some great times. Despite the out come of most of the games.
the SECOND Uggla comes to Fredi & sticks a fist near his face??? Oh yeah..Uggla is playing.
Orel’s losing it…
August 26th, 201210:04 pm
Orel has never been a good announcer in my opinion. But, given a choice between him and Joe Morgan? Orel every time!
August 26th, 201210:05 pm
that’s what she said.
Heyward and Freeman have been awful tonight….
Why do we keep runnin em out there?
August 26th, 201210:07 pm
No true, full-time fan could ever turn their backs on a team. I don’t think it’s possible.
Hudson, coming into tonight, with ATL – Before TJ surgery: 54-38, 3.78 ERA in 120 starts – After TJ surgery: 47-24, 3.43 ERA in 95 starts
Going into the 7th It will be interesting to keep an eye on Hudson’s fastball velocity. It was 91-92 for the first 5 innings. 6th inning it was 88-89. Sign of fatigue maybe
The Nats have lost way too much this past week for the Braves to still be 5.5 back.
But it’s not a matter of them losing as the Braves not being choke artists.
Cannot have another douchey Monday letdown against the sorry @$$ Padres.
Time to step it up.
PHIL – Im pretty sure Heyward has scored 2 of our 5 runs tonight…?
August 26th, 201210:08 pm
@Animus: given a choice between ANYONE and Joe Morgan I would take the other! Morgan is THE most self-aggrandizing, annoying, “know-it-all” announcer of them all.
Somewhere, Buster Olney is having an orgasm…
CRM300 – you started in with the greater fan than thou bs that we’ve all heard 10,000 times here at least. Give it a rest. Not only are you are number one fan, you type well too….
And my dad can beat up your dad…..stupid.
August 26th, 201210:09 pm
Wow. Pence with another cheap hit against the Braves. I really dislike him and his luck against the Braves.
Sawed him off,but trouble is brewing.
Lame and weak.
Come on Tim.
August 26th, 201210:10 pm
firejoemorgan.com is still up, even though it hasn’t been updated in years. Still fun to dig through for golden morganisms.
Chop shop – just joshing on heyward and fat freddie
Just checked – BMac is batting .234……Huddy .233 – it’s going to be tight going down the wire between those two
BP starting even though that was a bloop? I guess Fredi wasn’t kidding about patience.
Why warm the bullpen… roll it here and let Huddy work!
Nice offense tonight and great work by Huddy…. he must be trying to get back that “Ace” tag from Meds!
Has McFann been around? It’s been a while…. hope she’s okay. But with all the crap and hatred being spewn at BMac lately, I don’t blame her for not posting.
August 26th, 201210:11 pm
Would that be the sorry Padres who have a 7 game winning streak against teams .500 or better?
A 4-6-3 would be nice…
August 26th, 201210:12 pm
Just a long strike – WHEW
Is Huddy getting tired? Only 70 pitches….
just a long strike
Goodness. That foul ball was crushed. No way the Braves call allow this guy to beat them.
August 26th, 201210:13 pm
let huddy go on
Might be time for Mister Roboto to pick one of his now-famous “spots.”
August 26th, 201210:14 pm
Need a DP timmy!!!!
Remember a 5 run lead over the Phils evaporated pretty quick for Timmy a couple of weeks ago. Hopefully he can get through the 7th but I wouldn’t leave him out there too long if it starts unraveling.
August 26th, 201210:15 pm
Good nite all….
Pull us through.
Double play right here
Looks like his location is rising – 6 days rest too much I guess. Hoping he can get out of it here. But…gotta dig deep Huddy.
August 26th, 201210:16 pm
He is starting to miss high in the zone.
August 26th, 201210:17 pm
here comes venters
Minor would be pulled here.
August 26th, 201210:18 pm
There is really no reason for Hudson to be tiring. He has only thrown 80 pitches. That bloop turned the tied a bit.
August 26th, 201210:19 pm
The A Bomb
August 26th, 2012
Last couple of times Minor’s been in trouble Fredi let him get out of it on his own.
No throw home?
Okay…..no shutout but win, win, win……
Let’s get two.
Hersischer keeps mentioning Braves bullpen again and again in each of his sentences
August 26th, 201210:20 pm
No need to come home – 5 run lead, keep the runner at 2nd. Bourne doesn’t have a great arm anyway.
let huddy go one more
Oh, I thought there was only one out.
Let’s get one.
Good job Timmy…..
oh man, that had “I’m going to hit the second base bag and take a funny turn!” written all over it (maybe their luck has turned?)
Wheeeeeeew. Nice Timmy.
August 26th, 201210:21 pm
If Bourn threw that to home or cut off man Posey wouldn’t have tagged to score.
Don’t get this move by Bourn. He ruined Huddys shutout
That turned out alright.
Heyward woulda gunned him
August 26th, 201210:22 pm
Geez, Huddie with 60 strikes out of 82 pitches. Talk about pounding the zone.
McFann :Ô: :Ô: :ô:
Thanks, TOBF. You hit the nail on the head—just not worth it most nights these days, unfortunately…
Huddy did a great job of limiting the damaging……Let him pitch until he gives up another run
It looks like some pretty rough weather in nolie’s area.
Huddy hung a breaker….had a few lapses….he adjusts….fine, not tired–IMO….temps in low 60’s?
August 26th, 201210:23 pm
Excellent work by Hudson tonight, now we need a clean inning by Venters and hope that we do not have to use Kimbrell tonight, save him for a tighter game.
This is a must win game & the lead is comfortable — for now.
Mike — Look at Halladay and Lee the past 2 days. You think this was good? Check out Halladay yesterday.
God’s speed to Nolieee!
