Unreal. The Braves wait until I get home before the offense wakes up. Even if we dont come back and win…at least the Giants bullpen had to be used.

Braves sure waited long enough to try to make things interesting, don’t ya think? But here we are. Second pitching change of the ninth, still none out, two on., lead down to 5-2.

Jet Lag may be a small part of the problem. The bigger issue is the Braves record against LHP. Can someone post that stat please?

The Braves offense is full of wasted opportunities and this is more than just a little slump.
This is a full blown collapse — again. This team will never go to the playoffs with this core group, not after last yr and this yrs repeat.
Collapse this yr and you ight as well blow this team up. And they will choke again.

This is what one would label as “pure unadulterated torture”. They are just teasing us here in the last inning only to go down in defeat once again. It’s similar to “waterboarding” just not as wet!

I gotta hand it to Gonzalez — he’s consistent.
There was no such thing as a BIG GAME last season, and there’s no such thing as a BIG GAME this season.
Players want to see a manager throw the kitchen sink at a team. This is like a football team with no running game. Always going for the explosive play. Killing us for 1.4 seasons now and if the NL was ANY stronger we’d be a heckuva lot closer to .500 than we are now.
Wonder what Wren thinks about the job Gonzalez is doing with his talent? He cannot be happy.
But I’ll repeat — for prolonged slumps to continue there has to be a lot of mind-screwing going on. And how can young players trust a manager who puts his golden goofy godson in the lineup nearly every night despite the incredible buffoonery?
