I said before TH pitched his 1st game after the DL that I thought he would pitch well(he did)but it was his next 2 starts following without the adrenaline and extra concentration(remember JJ against Boston) that would tell the tale. I give him credit for trying to throw more fastballs tonite than he’s been throwing especially before the DL. SF didn’t exactly kill him, but he’s just like a guy with a knife in a gun fight, not enough fire power.

Maybe the Braves can combine Sheets and Hanson for the 5th starter. The Rockies are doing some wierd stuff like that with their pitching.

If however we barely crawl to the finish and end up in Bud Selig’s idiotic one-game made-for-TV wild card crap shoot, regardless of whether we win or lose, it will be seen as “progress” and Fredi gets another year to tip his cap and drive us all nuts.

Nice. Now posts aren’t showing up again. I guess the blog has something in common with the Braves offense and Hanson’s ability to ge guys out.
Better shut him down before he ruins his trade value the way that Jair has done.
Somebody might still gamble on him in a trade this winter. Any more of this and he’ll be a DFA candidate after next season.
Funny how MLB works. The Braves wait to bring Hanson up until June as to not give him Super 2 status (never admitting this on the record of course), and he is likely to never get close to cashing in in a Braves uniform.
Sometimes it’s just safer to sell high.

You do know in the West they are 3 hours BEHIND!!!!!
Exactly. You do understand how Jet Lag works, right? Your body, especially on the first night, is still adjusted to a time that is 3 hours ahead of where you are, so when it is 7:00, you feel like it is 10:00. And you get tired earlier.

All the prognosticators on here a couple of weeks ago who were prophesying and saying this 10 game stretch would reveal the true status and finish for the Braves should be aware of your answer now. After tonight it’s 2-5 with 3 games to go. Even if the Braves were to get “lucky” on the last 3 it would still be no better than 5-5. Do you really STILL think they let Fredo make out this lineup card? Fredo doesn’t look like he could complete the Palookaville Post Crossword Puzzle and yet you still believe he makes out this ENTIRE card. He is told by Frank Wren that a guy making 13,000,000 a year or 80,000 a game that he WILL play him and I mean No Matter What. Frank Wren made a fool of himself with this particular acquisition–he is usually great—-but he does not like being wrong. So obviously he can’t be wrong about Uggla and Uggla will hit because Wren acquired him to hit. Anybody not believing what I just wrote must accept the alternative that Fredo Gonzalez may be even sillier than the image projected in the dugout. After nearly 300 games of this garbage, nobdy would be allowed to put up these numbers. Agreed??
