He was all smiles the last game — and used his smile to show the Braves up.

One of the reasons Medlen was in the pen this year was because he’s coming off of Tommy John. It’s the same with the Nats limiting Strasburg’s innings, except the Braves had more need for Medlen in the bullpen anyway with depth in the rotation. It made sense all the way around at the time.

Folks as far as I’m concerned, you’re looking at the 2013 Brave opening day starter. Dude just wins.
If they put him back in the bullpen, the entire staff should be fired. Somebody needs to be traded to make room for Medlen in the rotation.
It’s really that simple.
His command of all of his pitches, the fact that he sits at 89-92, and isn’t afraid to throw breaking balls and off-speed pitches in ANY count to ANY hitter….
Closest thing we’ve seen to Maddux since…… Maddux.
Not saying he’s going to win 300 games and be in the HOF.
I am saying he will be the Braves best starting pitcher for the next 2 or 3 years if given the chance.

Use the Shift Comma () . Type your string in, then put a /em surrounded by those same less than and equal than signs.
For Bold, use strong instead of em.

you can type just an i for italics and just a b for bold. no need to use em or strong if you want to cut down on typing
