The question was posed on the radio the other day that should the Braves win a wild card spot with enough time to work out the rotation, who would you like to see pitch the wild card 1-game playoff? My preference then is the same right now. It would be Medlen. He is the only one that I would trust to get us to the NLDS.
what are the run differentials in the games this year? I dont’ recall that many blowouts (and would say coming back from down what 9 is about the worst you can do to a team)

to whoever said they miss the 2011 version of EOF?
Uhh….
he’s allowed 11 ER in 43.2 IP (3.09 ERA)
In his first 9 appearances of the year, 7 of the ER were allowed.
So if you take those 3 outings out of the mix, he’s allowed 4 ER in 40.2 IP (0.88 ERA)
Either way, since you can’t “take away” outings…..
Since the 9th outing in 35.1 IP, he’s allowed those 4 ER (1.01 ERA)
So, uh…. yeah…. I think save 3 early season outings…. EOF is just fine.
But thanks for your wish.

Also hard to get a good vibe at bat with an isolated pinch hit appearance.
