Another no show. The number of men left on base is absurd. They cannot manufacture runs and that is all the manager. Good news. Real football games start with college next weekend and we can move off baseball season.

Not thinking Uggla would agree to go down….anyone think otherwise? According to this he would have to agree to it…………..not happening…..

Veterans’ consent

If a player has 5 years of major-league service, he may not be assigned to a minor-league team without his consent, regardless of whether he has already been outrighted once, even if he clears waivers. If the player withholds consent, the team must either release him or keep him on the major league roster. In either case, the player must continue to be paid under the terms of his contract. If he is released and signs with a new team, his previous team must pay the difference in salary between the two contracts if the previous contract called for a greater salary.

Rot in HELL Liberty Media! Sell the Braves to someone who cares. We don’t want to be your damn write-offs.

Get Francona for coach.

Thank goodness Larry wasn’t at third last night. He may have made 2 out of three plays that were hit to third. He would have wave at maybe 2 of them. Those balls were really hit. I can see him now, wave at them, jump to the side. Can Uggla look at hitting the ball the other way. One thing is on his mind. Knock it over the left field fence. Someone needs to burn the pictures he has of FG.
