Dang, be glad when the Pads are out of town. Seems like they have been playing them all week. Hate these 4 games series, especially against boring teams. Almost as bad as NFL exhibition games. Usually wind up in a 2-2 split anyway and what have you accomplished? Complete wash out.

My understanding is he was plenty proud of his time as a Marine Pilot.
In flight school was when they discovered Ted W had 20/10 vision which Willliams supposedly could have gone to the next level had there been one. Vision is a very good thing for the two things Ted W did for a living.

Of course if you have no one you can replace Bourn with, and you need a CF, a leadoff hitter, a great defensive player, and a guy that can steal bases, because you have none of these on your team or in the minors, you might want to pay him.

I just love Michael Bourn on top of our order. Keep our rotation as is (don’t spend for someone like Greinke) and sign Bourn to an extension please. Either trade for a LF or trade for a SP while keeping a platoon LF with prado at 3B. We have Teheran, Delgado, Gilmartin, Spruill, etc. as trade bait to really upgrade our team in the offseason

I was just checking the schedule for the 4-game set against the Giants and it’s not good. We face Zito, who we can’t beat. Then we go against Voglesong and Bumgarner, and finish up against Lincecum. Now at the risk of being negative, what are the odds that Lincecum will look like the old Lincecum when he faces us?
