I don’t know really who to blame but it seems like almost every Braves pitcher gets ahead of a batter and then starts to pick around the corners instead of attacking…
still trying to figure out why pitchers try to sneak a fastball by Uggla. He can tomahawk the high pitches as well. SHould be nothing but breaking balls, especially with 2 strikes
McFann, I just read your comment on the previous blog, since I have been sleeping pretty much the whole day. Yeah, I know all about that wisdom teeth thing. They pulled mine out, in boot camp, on my 20th birthday. All they did was give me Novacaine, in my gums. I was conscious through the whole thing. At least, they put you to sleep for that
Thought I would try to “cheer” you up even more “SP”. These numbers should do it.
Uggla -earned approx. 72% of salary so far this year so that’s 15 HRs @ $624,000 per HR AND
with 62RBI @ $151,000 per RBI
Taint pretty when you get it down to the penny is it? As I said, a part time hitter making $13M per yr.
I will take that run. Volquez would have got Janish at home but no way any other IF would have. Too bad volzquez didn’t hit that ball a little higher and further in the air
Good job Jason. I really like the direction he is headed. I know our offense looks helpless at times, but with Heyward, Freeman, Prado, and Simmons we do have a good core of talent. Can’t wait to see what Wren decides to do this winter. No way does he stand pat like last year. We got pieces to fill.
