Whats up man? You must of had a rough day or something. You down on the Bravos tonight!

We are gonna win this thing tonight. Sheets is getting them to hit it at us now and we’re gonna knock this guy out by the 6th.

Question to the rest of you guys in here if we end up losing this game would you guys consider this a bad series. I know that I would and the reason is the Mets are team that we should sweep and also also the Nats losing today. We got to find a way to win this game or it could become a bad series for us.

I know it’s still kind of early but I’m not liking the Braves’ chances tonight. It seems they are hitting into a lot of “bad luck” (good defensive plays) this game.

Serious question, not trying to be S/A. Is a part-time hitter worth $13M per year? Uggla was a part-time hitter last year, no denying that, and so far this year he is the same thing. Think what the Braves would have accomplished last year had he hit consistently, and so far it’s “ditto” this year. Must be nice to be paid that much for “part-time work”!

Somehow, I find it hard to believe that most people are hoping that Minor can be like a pitcher who is 30-29 with a 4.24 ERA. We expect a bit more from the 7th pick of the 1st round.

As much as Janish doesn’t hit, he only has 17 K’s in about 100 PA’s, and only grounded into one DP. He’s making contact, just not getting anything to fall.

Not too bad since the Braves only got him for his glove.

Braves vs Mets pen in this series: 7 hits, 3 runs, 10.2 innings. This from what I keep hearing is a bad bullpen.

“Somehow, I find it hard to believe that most people are hoping that Minor can be like a pitcher who is 30-29 with a 4.24 ERA. We expect a bit more from the 7th pick of the 1st round.”

Yes one would expect that from a 1st round pick, but in all honesty should one be holding out that Minor will eventually be better than that?? After 86 games, I for one, would be very pleased with the fact that Minor had those numbers of Niese. That would mean that Minor has shaved over a half run off his career ERA.

It’s difficult to label a person an “assclown,” in such an informal venue…..one thing one might consider is an accomplished person is ‘accomplished’ within their respective discipline….not to put him down, however, Mr. Schilling probably cannot perform brain surgery–he is a major league force still working closely in the public arena where criticism is rampant and many times an unwanted variable….who knows the true talents and acumen within the walls of this blog…..some, granted, could very well be pure ‘assclowns.’ My money says most are not–IMO, most of these guys and gals on this blog are here for the noble duty of supporting their favorite MLB team–The Braves…it would serve one well to merely label them fanatics…..and leave it at that.

If Sheets was giving up bombs, I’d be upset, but these hits are bleeders, off the thumbs, (any more cliches for weakass hits?)

The bats have to pick up some of the slack here – the offense can’t go totally in the tank for an entire game.

That bad 1st inning by the Braves, (2 on, no outs, and fail to score) is looking like it might have been bigger than first thought.
