Hersheiser says some scouts around baseball think Sheets might be hitting a “dead arm” stage. They’re saying his velocity on the fastball has steadily gone down his last few starts. IDK, I haven’t really noticed.

Please do not tell me it’s 2-0 Mets in the first inning.
If the Braves don’t win this game there might as well be no point to the rest of the season.
If they let the Nationals off the hook for losing to the Diamondbacks they should just give them the division banner.
Just take the 2010 NL Wild Card banner off the facade in left field, which shouldn’t be up there anyway, and write Nationals 2012 NL East Division Champions.
And then give it to them.
Either win this game or lose to the Mets and do that.

So, it was Sheets’ 3rd start when he had trouble vs. the Marlins, and this is his sixth start. Doesn’t like multiples of 3 I guess
