I thought Mac’s shoulder was the injuried body part…he was running slower than molases flowing uphill on a cold day. Any slower, and he would have been backing up.
Man, I was wrong on Freddie Freeman a couple yrs ago when he had his off yr in Mississippi in AA when he hit .248 with 8 HR.
I did not expect that kind of power.
Freddie has great hands at first but the range factor will rate him lower than most first basemen.
Still do not get his below 2 WAR rating, that does not make sense. You and I both know that Freddie is more than 2 games better than your typical replacement player.
The team looks motivated and inspired–a good sign late in the season, and, tellingly a positive sign of effective managerial strategies…….Fredi, I may pound you some; but you’re getting there and you deserve some love too!
Heard that on the broadcast. I hate the NYY but they do make the best of their dumsta dives like Freddie Garcia and they did get milage out of Bartolo Colon last yr.
Lowe prolly has a couple or three big gaes down the stretch for them. Might even beat the incompently run Boston Dead Sux twice if not more. That is the RS luck.
Don’t know your age but remember Jaquinn Anduhar with the Astros. His famous quote was “swing hard in case you hit it”. He was a switch hitter but you never new which way he was going to hit. Might go up there righty against a righty!

Not including the 24 million the Mets paid Santana is 2012, they also owe him another 25.5 million in 2013, along with a 5.5 million buyout for 2014.
If my math is correct, that’s 35 million for a pitcher who just got torched for eight runs in less than two innings of work. Yowzers!
