Well, let’s just flip popular expectations totally on their ear in this game! Huddy, surrenders one run, escapes, gets a 6-1 lead going to fifth, and then coughs it up like a speed eater with one too many hot dogs in his mouth! Then, Dan Uggla (he of the horrible slump) get the big RBI producing hits in the game, including a 3-RBI bases clearing double to accompany his own run scored later to put the Braves back up 10-6!
OK, so let’s end this craziness now so Kimbrel doesn’t come in and blow the save, assuming there is a save opportunity.

If Venters and Uggla find “their groves”……the Braves will grove up to the Nats quickly. But Hudson sure lost his grove suddenly tonight. I hope he did not hurt his ankle again when he was on base. If so, he should have taken himself out of the game. Maybe…when Hanson comes back….they give Hudson some time on the DL to get healthy for the stretch run.
