Not Fredi’s fault Huddy imploded. I’m no big Fredi fan, but a veteran like Hudson should be able to get through 7 innings with a big lead like that.

I’m not usually a manager ripper, but you can not watch Hudson throw all those high pitches for an inning and more and leave him out there.

I sure hope Sheets’ arm holds up and he continues pitching well. But if he doesn’t, the worst thing that could’ve happend was him pitching so well before the trade deadline and make Wren think he can take over as ace of the staff. It prevented him from going out and acquiring Greinke or maybe even pull off a surprising trade for an ace.

Gonzalez’s inability to treat everyone the same kills this team. He gives the vets (too) long leashes and fails to recognize when they’ve lost it.

Hudson is hurting this year. He has guts, so I don’t know where people get the idea he’s a wimp. Ignorant thing to say. Thing is that he is a feel type pitcher. His stuff isn’t as sharp I think because of his ankle. He also being little wears down as the season wears on.
